NOETHNICITY:
Of course, we don’t expect an Indomin generation to know that the OBJ administration denied Lagos state it’s FG allocation during the governorship of Tinubu.

Tinubu literally had to impoverish to keep Lagos going and he still made the impact that he is commended for today
Obasanjo did not deny Lagos State of its share of the 27% jointly owned by the 36 states of the federation account.

Only the 20% shared among the 774 constitutional LGAs was seized for Lagos’ 20 LGAs because Tinubu and Osinbajo, his Attorney General tried to smuggle new LGAs into the 1999 constitution. Other states tried and backed down after they were lectured about the illegality of their actions.

Tinubu truly impoverishes 20 million Lagosians by stealing ever increasing TAX burden on them instead of employing workers to make basic government services and public utilities available.

Ordinary water supply is worse today than it was in 1999, in terms of coverage, quality, quantity and pressure.

When did "Amount Requested" become "Amount Released"

The title of the column showed that 50 million was requisitioned. It doesn't confirm nor acknowledge payment or remittance.

This is serious
NOETHNICITY:
All these governors are evil and treacherous

They go to Abuja collect huge billions and come back their states pretending that everything is bad because of the president

No one is holding governors to account, they appear to bear no responsibility, hiding their failures behind the president
My brother this is the greatest evil under the sun. Governors receiving billions monthly yet pretend as if they've received nothing, underdevelopment, underpaying salaries, etc.

Yet keep blaming the FG. Vivid example was exgov Ortom of Benue.

Nigerian politics probably the most lucrative gig in the world, with the most gullible citizens who will defend the looters and criminals.

Oga, the op attached a document where the account of the money already disbursed was sent to the honourable minister of finance and you are here still asking for the op's evidence!
Madam, So letter of request is tantamount to granting a request? Why not show us evidence from the sender showing funds transfered and receipt acknowledged?

I replied you but your favourite Mod quickly rushed in to delete my comments. That's how low nairaland has become.

Let me say this; You don't know the difference between allocation and intervention funds. If you are not mentally lazy, you would know that FG often publishes states allocations every month. Whereas intervention fund is a special fund FG gives to states in an emergency situation.
Reading through that tiny portion clearly, where did you see the confirmation that 50b was paid to Oyo state? Why was the entire document not revealed? The account of Oyo state and possibly other states in that document is of interest to all Nigerians.

Where is the evidence sir?

AMINDA:
A request for disbursement is not tantamount to money being released, although I expect Tinubu's camp to lap it up. Wale Edun already told us the budget was largely unfunded with a lot of revenue shortfalls. If core capital projects from 2024 are still being carried over into 2026 with trillions owed to local contractors, are we to believe that the Tinubu government was magnanimous enough to release a 50 billion naira largesse to Seyi Makinde simply because it was requested for?
From this document am not sure the 50B was disbursed. It's sated the outstanding balance as stated below and Oyo is the first. Meaning Oyo is in d list but yet to receive it. Abi no be so?

What a joke, fayose. This is no evidence at all. He requested for fund, yes. Now show us the document disbursing the fund. Is it a crime for him to request the fund? No. Did he get it? He said no. Fayose said yes. Fayose has burden of proof and not this zombie evidence
Until Fayose provide the evidence of the said sum transferred to Oyo state government account, he is only wise by half. The source that provided his this letter should also help him get the date, account no, account name and bank the fund were paid to.

You obviously didn't read the content. If you can't find the evidence in the letter, then go drink some water.

Get out. People died and property lost in the explosion while the governor looted the funds that meant for the people
The "evidence" only suggested the state govt asked for funds. Nothing bad in FG bailing out a state.
How the funds were utilised is a different thing, and no one has provided any evidence that funds were received and that it was looted.

Understand English. E get why

The sum of 450.7b was disbursed as outlined below, leaving a balance of 464.7b is one statement, with one meaning.

The sum of 450.7b was disbursed, leaving a balance of 464.7b as outlined below is another statement, with another meaning.

Now go back and read that screenshot from the beginning, up to that point and get the correct information passed.

What was outlined below are/were the outstanding requests, shikena.
