I know,but that is not true, there are at most 10 Cement factory in Nigeria,and I have been to most of them, I still work with one....you can't take a spoonful of cement out..

i suspect you typically use high end hotels - but some paranoia is required. have all these in your travelling bag. you will have to do your own mental assessment of the hotel. especially if you are in the field proper. once you are outside lagos, abuja, kaduna or PH you will just have to manage whatever hotel you find.

No iphone is brand new here even from Apple store here. A friend of mine bought his phone brand new here went to the US and wanted to swap only for them to tell him it's a stolen phone after checking it up.

See ehn, you can see all these faults because you're a technical person, I am not. My own na to do my official assignment, use hotel facilities, eat and sleep.

I guess you're right though, when I saw that post, I'm now questioning myself if even Marriott staff also don't prioritize hygiene. Pheww!

Marriott is a world class hotel and they try to maintain the same standard across the board. Plenty of risk of escalation to oyibo ogas at the top. It is hotels like Sheraton and Radisson Blu I would be paranoid about.

One-time I worked as a quality assurance officer in a food and beverage producer- it was a practice back then to use expired raw materials (concentrates and flavors) to produce flavor and fruit drinks, in the bid to save cost.
I felt the pang of guilt been part of the system involved in compromising food safety, but I needed the job. I swallowed the guilt.

I used to work with a beverage company, stay way frm milk, juice, yoghurt and energy drinks, nothing is natural not even the cow, fruits or preservatives, is like adding small amounts of cement in every garri you eating, if u know u know 😃
