Tragedy has struck close to British-Nigerian boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, as two of his close friends who reportedly arrived Nigeria with him earlier today have been confirmed dead following an auto crash that occurred this afternoon.

One of the deceased, identified as Latz, was said to be Joshua’s longtime best friend. Reports indicate that the trio were in Nigeria to spend the holidays together, just as they did last year during the Christmas season.

Heartbreakingly, Latz was said to have posted on Snapchat about four hours before the unfortunate incident, while Anthony Joshua still reportedly has a video of them playing table tennis on his social media status.

Friends, fans, and supporters have expressed shock and deep sadness over the devastating news, describing the incident as a painful and emotional loss.

May their souls rest in peace. 💔

There is a question begging for an answer? Were they drunk? The actual details are still sketchy because I read thru ran into a stationed truck?

It would be good to know the cause of the accident:
1. Bad road
2. Overspeeding
3. Drunk driving


Also, no proper emergency services on our highways.
I hope this accident will prompt the government to create rescue points on that Lagos -Ibadan road with proper lighting too.

Nigeria happened to this guy many years ago when quota kabiru system saw him abandoned and neglected from participating in the Olympics....he managed to move away to better climes but still,hes allowing "them" to hypnotize and draw him back for nigeria to happen to him again....

Thank God for his life...RIP to the deceased....
