What a disgraceful country! Pray u should not be involved in any Emergency situations in Nigerian o, u are OYO. This reminds me of the series of Helicopter ER I used to watch on DSTV.. Rescue operations is top notch. For here, na picture people go dey take and possibly thieves that would want to steal the spoils on the accident scene. RIP to the Dead.

Look, our health budget is 6 billion dollars.

That's not even enough for one hospital.

For contrast in the UK, the NHS budget is 300 billion dollars

Just shows that our country's leaders don't know how to raise money and Nigerians, only ten million of 230 million pay tax.

The way Nigerians expect miracles sha. That's why we have tinubu ruling over us cheesy

Complete lack of responsibility on the part of Joshua being inside a vehicle speeding on a pothole filled road and probably high on alcohol too. Could he have done that in the UK?

I'm your fan but completely ashamed of you for this incident that you're too old to be found engaging in. You just got involved in the avoidable death of 2 people due to recklessness.

AJ you just lost the respect of a fan and I don't think you can ever regain my respect back but I remain your fan.

The negligence of the driver must have led to this avoidable accident. Probably he was trying to impress Tony with his fast and furious skills angry

But then again,do we even have emergency response team in this country? angry. Pray you shouldn't be in such condition..

The worst of all, people who should be rescuing and providing first aid treatment would be taking pictures angry

We really have a very long way to go in this part of the world angry

Anyways, thank God for Tony's life and rip to the departed souls.🙏
in america, immediately an accident occur ambulances will just dissappear to the scene...when human being reason like ducks.at every point of an accident, first responders have always preempted it so they sill just appear at a tap

Dem carry am for road safety hilux abi? He has finally experienced the Lagos Tinubu built.

Snark aside, this is a shame and disgraceful plus has the potential to truncate Joshua's career. You don't survive that level of impact without serious spinal strains or broken ribs of some sort. G forces can be brutal and at the speed they were driving at, it can only be imagined how many G forces his body encountered at such a rapid deceleration event.

No ambulances, no health professionals nearby just a mob of people with phones viewing and road safety officials who probably lack training on how to properly carry accident victims.

Joshua will not be fighting anytime soon.
Nwosu, This didn't happen in Lagos

Now he can apologize for his ungrateful actions against the British government.

You affiliate, recognize and support a country that owes non of its citizens allegiance, a country that has no value for human life, but then ridicule a country that tho not perfect has ensured that life is worth living.

Give your support to Kemi when you get back and tell the world the truth that Nigeria isn’t growing at the moment.

Quest7777:
Emergency Response is non-existent in Nigeria.
Even when a Good Samaritan manages to rush you to a hospital, you face another serious hurdle getting admitted.

Even when you cross that hurdle, you face another hurdle of absence of critical Life-saving equipment eg Oxygen...
You forget to add that the Good Samaritan might be in big trouble with the police for just rendering help

This crisis has no political party, no religion, no tribe, and no region. It is a matter of life and death.
Yet we have been deceived into believing our leaders care. The truth is harsh: basic amenities are not absent by accident — they are denied by design.
As long as we keep fighting ourselves along party, religious, or ethnic lines, nothing will change.
Only when we stand together will Nigeria stand a chance.

Pay your taxes so that you can have a quick emergency response...... A lesson for others to learn, it's not the fault of bad roads today!!

It's a tragic loss, RIP to the dead.

You are wrong.
Budgets are not compared in such manner.
The UK has a higher wage system and would need a bigger budget by a larger factor.
There are countries that operate a decent healthcare system with lesser budget.

Calling into the discussion the wasted resources by politician on foreign treatment.

While you have chosen to be the devils advocate and continually spill vile rhetoric on this platform, the truth that corruption is our albatross will always prevail.
