Nigeria won't be broke if not for the selfishness, incompetency and greed of your leaders. They stole and stole and stole until nothing is left for the development of the country. Your leaders stole and mismanaged the nation's wealth derived from the sales of natural resources that God bless the country with. And you want to sacrifice and fund their excesses? They already have what it takes to lift the country...they don't need my tax to do that.

ibedun:
OK, please show us your TAX CLEARANCE over the years as you said. Abi na for mouth government go take establish emergency services?

When politicians make promises, the often mean it but when they get into office, they soon realise the government is broke and the citizens are liabilities and beast of burdens.

Nobody is holding them! They are allowed to Go today, yesterday and tomorrow. Their representatives don't have the balls to raise the motions on the national assembly fearing the rest of Nigeria will say YES YES YES!!!! THANK YOU JESUS, YES!!!

grin grin grin
You're deluded. So why is Nigeria against IPOBs call for a referendum?

So sorry Joshua. NIGERIA happened to you and your friends.

Very sophisticated region.
Agulu man always looking for someone to blame as if ambulance were in every 2 km when he was Gov of Anambra state.

You should be ashamed of yourself. So we should applaud the country with poor or nonexistent emergency response system?

You will be in need of emergency response tomorrow but it will not come. Someone else would glorify the lack of emergency response that came your way.

There are a lot of countries that have good and well organized infrastructures that are not as wealthy as Nigeria.
These things don't cost much.

Yes, countries like Ghana and Ivory coast which have better electricity infrastructure because they make their consumers pay cost reflective tarrifs and also no one steals power and bypasses their meters.

And electricity costs a lot of money. We need something like 15 trillion naira in additional funding annually to get power to those on the grid.

YES WE GOT TO FIGHT CORRUPTION. (Because most of you assume I support corruption, and even abuse me for it, when I don't).

But the thing is, most nigerians steal electric power.

One more thing, we got a working internet and telephone system, simply because from 2001, we decided to make GSM for profit. We still haven't done so for electricity.

I understand you. Though, last last everything boils down to having a good leader.
Look at Abia state and see what they have achieved in just this short period of time.
Everything shouldn't be about 'winner takes it all kind of politics' and pepper body.
Nigeria to me is the most enjoyable place on earth if things work well.

Abia state is not because of the governor, it's because (electricity wise) laws allowed the setting up of geothermals electricity power

And even then, people hooked up to that power company pay higher than the national average.

As for the rest...we have heard it before, even about tinubu. They build this, build that, dont build the economy and finances that would sustain it.
