Sorry I must have missed it… do show
Just seeing this

Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, 7 and after a while his master’s wife took notice of Joseph and said, “Come to bed with me!”

8 But he refused. “With me in charge,” he told her, “my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care. 9 No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” 10 And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused to go to bed with her or even be with her.

Joseph looked through his relationship to his master and saw God. To have a narrow interpretation of this as not concerning his chastity as as part of a sacred trust and relationship is to ignore 1 Cor 6:19

You’re making inferences, I would have you know that the preceding verse states my master has withheld nothing from me in this house except ‘you’. Meaning he could do as he wished with the servants and maids.

If in doubt go back to Egyptian culture.

It’s hard to accept and I understand why, you don’t want to put a crack in the absoluteness of your belief. But still…

Marriage is the only legal platform in God's eyes for sex.....

That means if you are a bachelor or bachelorette, you have to learn how to submit and subject your body.

It sure ain't easy.

but you have to be careful to marry a person compatible with you. A lot of people marry wrongly and it ends in divorce.
Judedwriter, how are you, being a while boss, what happened to the other account boss man

So I couldn't access it anymore.

Long time, happy new year, wishing you God's rich blessings in 2026.

If the bible is silent on a matter we much draw inference from other text and not give high probation value to information outside the text.

[/quote]Buttress your point by alluding to several other cases, similar to Joesph’s conundrum. He rejected disloyalty and adultery but you surmised he was chaste.
Where else in the Bible was chastity a requirement?

God hates adultery
Proverbs 6
24 keeping you from your neighbor’s wife,
from the smooth talk of a wayward woman.
25 Do not lust in your heart after her beauty
or let her captivate you with her eyes.
26 For a prostitute can be had for a loaf of bread,
but another man’s wife preys on your very life.
27 Can a man scoop fire into his lap
without his clothes being burned?
28 Can a man walk on hot coals
without his feet being scorched?
29 So is he who sleeps with another man’s wife;
no one who touches her will go unpunished.

Mark 10
18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good. 19 But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat anyone. Honor your father and mother.’[a]”

20 “Teacher,” the man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.”
