Woooow! That's a loophole you just revealed. Both the old and the replacement will still work with one single account payment It will surprise me if starlink let's this happen permanently for these replacement cases.

Starlink once sent me a replacement router and I'm still using the old router because i repaired the power problem that spoiled in it before that warranted a replacement. I'm using the new one as Mesh to extend network around house. But routers are different from dish. The dish is where the account is linked and not the router

Why not opt for buying from Starlink authorized distributors then they will refund it for you in credit

Looking the like the gen 2 is going into extinction, cos the way my own de slow this days ehn…am beginning to wonder if there is a significant speed difference between the gen 2 and gen 3. Those that have experienced both should speak pls

I didn't get free credit Shaa, i don't know why and i had active subscription before equipment damaged.


Did you do anything separately to get the free credit?

To mount, u will need to buy pole mount bracket (see pix below) which I ordered from Aliexpress. I already had a long pole

Of course there's significance difference in speed between the two.

Na why i complained about slowness of my Gen2 speed. After much remote inspection, they changed it to Gen3 for me at no extra cost with 1 month free sub credited to my account
