If im in fubara shoe, few month to election I will look for another party like ADC or other party like Adeleke did in osun state. Fubara should rather die like a man than live like a coward. I rather contest in another party than to step down for wike to have is way. If he lose that’s a gallant lose.. |

NOETHNICITY:What chaos? Who created the chaos? He has a right to seek reelection. Let him lose at the polls, not at the godfather's roundtable. Wike must accept Fubara's right to a second term, otherwise he will lose woefully. Fubara is no longer in comatose PDP. For your education, APC national leadership will defend Fubara with everything in order to send a clear message to Wike that he cannot replay the same dramatic unruliness with which he sunk the PDP. You think the president will watch Wike try that shit in APC? Wike won't dare Tinubu. ![]() Na Yerima them go take escort am go back to Ikwerre land. ![]() |

Not too interested in politics. Governance is what affects me directly but the likely end to this is that Fubara is appointed a Minister overseeing a 'Juicy' parastatal and Wike left to 'select' the new governor but who must be an APC candidate. You see, there is too much between Mr. Wike and Tinubu that should not be revealed and both cannot afford to compromise the 'Agreement'. Fubara will likely end up not contesting. They will settle him the Nigerian way. |

Onme:Fubara is compromised already. He himself had admitted to that several times and his political actions since he resumed office show his allegiance is not with the people but to the President. And he will do whatever the President wants. He is a political eunuch (my adopted word of the week), his conscience completely castrated. |

SlavaUkraini:Alright, that’s fine. Since they have indicated they won’t support him, let’s maintain peace. We will go ahead and give him our support. |
| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by BondRiv: 12:47pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
Fine. They should pick someone else. This crisis shouldn't continue beyond 2027. Fubara will never honour their agreements anyway. The back and forth should end. The former civil servant is now in love with power. |

Afriifa:Lol that's not how politics works..... It's all about patience, playing dumb and making your baddest moves!!!! Tinubu won't allow Fubara do anything for now, he needs both of them. Wike is getting out of control, that's why Tinubu is tolerating him till after his second tenure (If he wins). SIM decamping to APC has really weakened Wike's control of the state, that's why he's going round the LGA to display his show of strength lol. Wike can't go forward nor backward .. he's stuck with that power chess move by Fubara. Because if Wike resigns from PDP, I bet you... Lot of governors, senators and HOR members will decamp back to PDP (this will reset all his dirty work for Tinubu which I know he won't think about such moves) If he moves to APC, definitely he can't be moving mad to disobey the governor because he must obey the state leader which happens to be the governor and must align with the national interest of the party. Wike is really stuck..... |
| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by KINGKONG(m): 1:00pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
phren:So wike will now tell all the LG chairmen and his structure to vote for PDP? Hahahahhha You think Fubara won't be given a second term ticket in APC? What are you drinking my man? |
| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by yemmit90: 1:20pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
Peliman:Exactly, the only way Wike can stop him is if he join APC too and use his influence to stop him from being governorship candidate, otherwise he has absolutely no power to stop his reelection. |
| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by yemmit90: 1:30pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
Onme:Why will you do that when you have total control of your new found party? Wike can't stop him from getting APC ticket since he is not the member, and he also have little power to rig him out or use force against Fubara who will have more financial muscles and free access to state security and federal backing. Las Las, Wike will be call to Abuja for negotiation, and he will definitely accept the outcome because he won't have choice by then. |

| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by NOETHNICITY(m): 2:13pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
yemmit90:Wike doesn’t have to be in APC to present a viable candidate in APC who will get the required president’s approval to get the ticket. Fubara on the other hand, shall have only just 2 options: Either he decamps to another party, as suggested by the person you responded to, where is most likely to still lose the election at the end. The second option is for him to play the Ambode style and get a soft landing at the very end of his term. Why I think presidency would likely back Wike. Fubara fell out Wike when he (Fubara) refused to join Wike’s anti-Atiku campaign in Rivers with intent to hand Rivers to Atiku. Tinubu would have to be the worst traitor in the world to forget to forget the role Wike played in frustrating Fubara’s effort. |

This threat of support withdrawal and his allies is made with boldness simply because VOTES DO NOT COUNT, HAVE NEVER COUNTED AND WILL NEVER COUNT IN ANY ELECTIONS IN THIS BRITISH CONTRAPTION CALLED NIGERIAN. Take it or leave it. |

SlavaUkraini:Wike should keep wailing. The real game will start by January. We go see how this drvnk go carry sitting Governor comot. Fubara will fight back this time around with full force. |

| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by Onme(m): 3:36pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
yemmit90:is it not same tinubu that struck deal between fubara and wike that fubara is doing one term? You can see wike said the agreement is clear he is only doing one term. Na ambode lagos treatment then will definitely do for fubara. |
| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by Burob: 3:38pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
Onme:Make u leave pikin yemmit90, make e dey deceive emself. Person that they were about impeach, President begged Wike & his boys to spare the Judas & let him finish his 1 term, the Judas after his suspension thinks by going to join the APC he will be safe. A very clueless man without any iota of integrity. |
| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by Onme(m): 3:42pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
NOETHNICITY:exactly what I’m saying. That why I said fubara should rather die like a man than live like a coward. If they insist he is doing one term then He should go to another party and pull up a fight as a sitting governor to run second term on the new party platform .. he rather go to another party and lose than he just handover power to them cheaply cause of one stupid agreement. |
| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by Burob: 3:45pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
Onme:The man is a clueless nonentity, a singlehandedly handpicked puppet of Nyesom Wike, he cannot even dare to try what u are suggesting. |

Most times when I read some of the post some of you make here, I just laugh, shake my head scroll on cos most of them can't pass for a comedy script. 😁😄😀😅😂🤣 If they ask you who and who would vote SIM at the APC primaries to select a governor, you won't be able to answer. So the RHA members,LG chairman,Federal lawmakers (All loyal to Wike) and other APC delegates like Tonye Cole will vote for SIM ⁉️ 😁😄😀😅😂🤣 Nsogbu Adiro, oga eme unu voom n'anya, ngbe oge rue yemmit90: |
| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by bixton(m): 6:02pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
Reference:Fubara is over compromised. He has joined the league of the political class lacking intergity and for someone who can't keep to an agreement/arrangement, that's why Wike dislikes and can't continually trust him. This is a governor who came out to say there's no money or nothing he is getting and Akpabio told him to just resign.... This is a governor who told the people that "his spirit has left the brick house".... There's so much political free money can do to the conscience of a man....... That's why at times, one exercise self control and refrain from speaking publicly when certain issues arise for sometimes one might not be so different from the one he condemns... |

| Re: Rivers: Wike, Allies Rule Out Support For Fubara’s Second-term Bid by yemmit90: 10:26pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
LottiOk:Book mark this post today, Wike is only doing initial gragra, he will still come back to negotiate table in Abuja and allow Fubara to run. Governors are too important than any other politicians in Tinubu style of politics, he can never sacrifice a loyal Fubara for Wike. He will allow them to strugg it out with one another and intervene at die minutes to make peace. One thing is certain, APC won't denied Fubara a ticket the only option left for Wike to forcefully stop him is if he officially join APC. |

😁😄😀😅😂🤣😁😄😀😅😂🤣😁😄😀😅😂🤣😁😄😀😅😂🤣😁😄😀😅😂🤣😁😄😀😅 I've Bookmarked your post and will be hear to wake you up when the reality that nobody/delegate in Rivers APC will vote Fubara against wike's choice for govnor come '27. "AGREEMENT IS AGREEMENT" is a Universally Understood term of "Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours". Anyone who truly loves Sim should sit him down and explain this to him, he should stop listening to kindergarten politicians like you cos it's causing him more harm than good (which he acknowledged after the agreement was emphasized before the SOE was lifted). Better let Nl be where you can express such childish imaginations cos if you bet on SIM to win APC govnorship ticket without wike's blessings, 😁😄😀😅😂🤣 e go shock you. yemmit90: |
