How can a bulletproof SUV have a tyre burst? The vehicles don't use conventional rims. They can run on a flat rim if anything happens to the tyres.

This accident was mainly due to the recklessness of the driver and he should be prosecuted

Smart guy. The trailer parks will automatically become mini markets and olosho spots as usual. Big business opportunities but must Government do everything? Why can't the private sector do this?

when you abide by the speed limit and have a tyre blow out, the impact might be minimal, but tyre blow out at high speed can be fatal and that's why it's advisable to maintain a safe speed. Most people driving SUV don't realise tyre blow out can be more fatal at high speed than with saloon car. I don't speed beyond 90kph with my SUV no matter how smooth the road is. I know prominent people in this country killed due to tyre blow out in their SUVs, chief among them are General Abdul Karim Adisa and a minister in Buhari's cabinet from Kogi State. We should adhere strictly to speed limits so that in case of any eventuality we can be in control. Speed kills.

That's one of the best road in this country.. Omoh come and drive that road and see better cruise. I think it's over speeding.
Higher percentage of fatal accidents are actually not caused by bad roads. I wish Nigerians know this. May the soul of the departed rest in peace
