At least that false narrative that Gyokeres doesn't get supplies dies a natural death
It died the day Jesus came in for him as a sub. The amount of duels he's losing is really concerning especially for someone with that size. Make we get someone like Gyokeres and no fit play over the top when tightly pressed at the back.

you see that move Martinelli made when saka had the ball before crossing in, that's something we would like to see Gyokeres do, but he would rather run to the far corner than attack that space. But there's still room for improvement in his game shaa.
S/o to Rice, he made it look like RB is natural for him. Early in the game he was finding it difficult to position when trying to overlap, but he later got it right.
Raya is world class aje
Saka, I don't know man, he does his work well but seems like he overthinks simple stuff these days.
Jesus still got his too many touches shit going on.
The amount of chances odegaard created alone should have sealed the game in the first half, but....
Saliba na beast
I don't think Gyokeres can bench kai with the kind of display he puts on.
Waiting for pundits to start talking about own goal tables and shit.
Naturally, Martinelli has got that sharp striker instinct. Kai should come back on time or maybe we should just continue with Merino up top till Gyokeres gets his stuff together. Kai was supposed to be in match day today but heard Arteta made some certain decisions which is why Eze, Madueke, and Nwaneri didn't come in.

As for Saka, he needs to start polishing his decision making again. I really didn't mention this because it's difficult when you have a striker who is not opening up and hiding behind defenders.

Aston Villa deserves serious spanking from us.

I’m talking like 5 nil.

Their body needs to calm down.

He will be available for Chelsea game.

I think it’s just player management.

are you sure it was in training?, the report i have been seeing said it was during the Brighton game that he got a knock on the knee. And it is just a precaution not any kind of long term absence.

Yes it was during the Brighton game. I hope it won't be too major that will have him sidelined for weeks.

They really need to look at the training regime.

What type of training, how many hours, the physio personnel etc

These injuries cannot come from matches alone
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 7:11pm On Dec 30, 2025
Aston Villa will pass from the back, lure you out and then use long balls directly to the forward players bypassing the midfield. They usually have three men upfront even when defending. The forward players are quick and each attacking transition looks like a counterattack.

To defeat them, you must never lose possession. You must have fast defenders. You must defend as high as possible reducing the space between their forwards and their defense forcing them into a low/midblock.

When defending don't try to win possession in your defense area, clear the ball. Villa usually throw men into the box trying to outnumber the opponent and win lose balls.

Nice illustration but Emry should be winning back to back titles with this formation.

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 9:30pm On Dec 30, 2025
Our players need to forget about forcing pass to Gyokeres especially when he's not in a good position to hold the ball cos it will end up biting us when they dispossess him like it just happened few minutes ago.

We might need to buy a very sharp AM because Odegaard seem to have lost that spark and Eze playing AM just seem not to be working.

Nwaneri is not ready obviously and doesn't have the physicality to cope with the demands of EPL in tough matches.

I've seen him play long enough in an Arsenal shirt to assess and judge him as not being ready to be that man for us at the moment.
