You summed it up beautifully. It seems they have not learnt anything from the last election and are still bent on playing politics with emotions. Politics is a game of numbers and logic. It has NOTHING to do with emotions.

The best route for an Obi Presidency is to deputize Alhaji and after his tenure he declares his own ambition. There's a reason APC desperately wants Kwankwaso on their team.

Should Obi decide to row it alone, then his career is finished politically. Because Kwankwaso (if he deputizes the President) has a brighter chance of becoming the next president than Obi. Also, I'd rather stay in my house that day than go out because Tinubu would win using that scenario and it'll be 2023 all over again.
