Happy new year my country people! I’ve been thinking about the Nigerian belief that you MUST clap for others to "accelerate" your own success. We’re always told to "tap into the grace" or "key into the testimony" so our own turn can come. But I have a question: Does it actually work? Or have we just turned "congratulating people" into a superstitious requirement? What happens when you’re in a season of pain, or you’ve tried the exact same thing someone else did but failed, and you just don't have the energy to cheer? Does staying silent or "staying in your lane" actually block your own blessings? I feel like there’s a lot of guilt attached to not being the "loudest clapper" in the room, especially when you’re dealing with your own silent battles. I would love to hear your thoughts—is this a real spiritual principle or just toxic positivity? |

There is really nothing NOTHING like Tapping into Grace Grace and Mercy are related Although Mercy is a blessing "Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain Mercy" But you see Grace It is everything I mean,it leads to everything It makes people who don't pray long hours move forward in life faster than people who spend days or weeks praying and Going through Hunger in the name of " Fasting" By Grace, people are even saved. Receiving anything from God is by grace. No one can say he or she did something to receive something from God. They would find someone else who did nothing and received more than that. By Grace one obtains mercy according to Paul "Let us therefore come with confidence to the throne of Grace to obtain Mercy" But then How does one receive grace It can only be given by God for only a single reason AND IT IS HUMILITY But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble " (Jas 4: 6) There's no other place in the Bible that describes how Grace is gotten without mentioning Humility as the condition And interestingly, there are only very few(maybe 2 Bible verses) that even say how. It is only by Humility. Someone who is very humble would enjoy many graces of God that others won't be able to understand how or why. It's a secret albeit glaring in the Bible. The concept of Tapping grace is totally not biblical at all. Not even with someone having the grace of God praying for another person. Many people touched Jesus garment but only one person was healed from it. Many people are prayed for by people who are seen to have Grace but only few who God sees their hearts receive their healings or miracles directly from him. |

KAM3KAZI:All the blessings of God have conditions and are automatic Through Jesus 3. "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. 5. "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. 6. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. 7. "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. 8. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. 9. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. 10. "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11. "Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. (Matt 5: 3-11) Even if someone claps till their hands fall off The criteria for blessings are glaring here already |

Thank you for your input. I personally believe that "tapping into someone's grace" is a load of bullocks that mordern day ministers and pastors preach to their subservient congregation and has been passed down generationally. There is this popular belief especially in Nigeria that if you congratulate someone who achieved something, the process of your own achievement will be accelerated. From a spiritual standpoint, does that work? Sirmwill: |

Sirmwill:I was going to oppose you here only to see that even you have opposed yourself in saying "All the blessings of God have conditions and are automatic Through Jesus like Tapping into Grace. |

KAM3KAZI:It is a yes and no thing. Like the woman with the issue of blood who tapped from Jesus, which I called stealing however Jesus gave her grace on a condition which she passed So, yes, as is written, there are people who are a blessing to others but it is not always guaranteed that you must get. And in all these you would not need tapping if ye are planted by the waters |

Sirmwill:The correcter answer you should have said is that Jesus is our God, so grace comes from Him and through Him. Or did you not know that He is our God? |
