Adeboye and his co miracle workers should organize exorcist prayers to cast away demons that cause accidents

We are our own problem. If the government start enforcing speed limit on our highways and start punishing erring drivers, we will still be the onr shouting that government is too hostile, government is this and that. Infact some people will drag government to court.

Look at ordinary baning of tinted cars, see how citizens and NBA dragged government to court.
Whether we will complain or not, it is the role of the Government to implement laws that guides her citizens irrespective of whether the citizens like them or not.

Its the same mindset behind "if they give us light, can we pay?"

Our reasoning dey so off for this parts.

What skill to focus on?
Spamjxj:
Gosh! A new year... huh May their soul rest in peace

Most people will work hard in 2026 and still go nowhere.
I found out why and fixed it with one decision.

I focused on learning and sharing specific high-value skills.
One of my students applied the same approach and bought her first car at 19. No hype. No referrals. No shortcuts.

This Lagos-Ibadan expressway is the busiest in Nigeria, why not make it a six or eight-lane carriage way? Why not let heavy duty vehicles have a separate lane? We know the solutions to this crash, but we won't work on it. Well, I guess politicians don't ply this roads.

Banning of tinted glass is the most nonsensical policy in Nigeria. You don't manufacture cars but you want to charge your citizens for driving imported cars that have privacy glass at the back....and you want to charge them yearly?

How will making people pay for tint every year improve security? If the essense of to capture their details why is it every year and not at the point of first registration or change of ownership?

Must every government agency be turned to revenue generating agency?
Re: Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Crash On New Year Day: Passengers Trapped, Feared Dead by NoToPile: 7:04am On Jan 02
It is well.

The fears about how smooth that road will always be over speeding.

It will be doing you like to press it more, punch it just a little don't fall for it oo and the commercial drivers get offended when passengers caution them.

Will we now be hoping the road has bumps /holes to slow down drivers?

Those shouting speed limit enforcement blablabla are the same people that will come to castigate the government if they do it.

Bros have you heard about the term killer drivers?

Some of these drivers are just out there on the roads to commit murder intentionally

Did you hear about the one that happened on Christmas day in Gombe in the year 2024 ?where a petroleum tanker driver intentionally rammed into a group of worshippers on the road, killing several of them.

The driver initially slowed down when some people said there are people on the road ahead doing religious activities

But this devil fired up the engine, increased the speed of the truck and rammed into them (mostly youths in their prime) 🙀🙀🙀

Till today nothing absolutely nothing was done about it. The driver claimed brake failure.

Road safety don't care, FG don't care. Same story every year. They would blame the driver but the truth is the white know that every human don't like to obey law and that is why they put stringent rule for those kinda people and they follow it to the last. I wish it's our politicians that are always in this fatal accident. I pray that this year, they will be the ones involved for them to do the right thing.
Do you people like any form of enforcement?
You people fight police, your fight Lasma, you fight road safety. You want tinubu to go and stand there before you respect the law?

Are these drivers smoking something before they get behind the wheels, because I don't understand how he managed to ram into a vehicle executing a U-turn. Was he blind? We need mental health evaluation reforms in this country as a matter of dire urgency.

What a waste.

Lagos Ibadan expy road again. Na waooo. Seems like the gods are angry on that highway
That road is too smooth. And there's always a mix of different kinds of vehicles, small cars, buses, TRUCKS AND TANKERS on that highway. The last that needs to be looked into is the HEALTH OF PASSENGER BUSES. There are buses that are over 50 year old still being used to convey passengers around, government needs to do something about them.

If good roads unleash their inner speed demons, then they have no business driving. Honestly it is alarming.

Female Church Member Confirmed Dead In Lagos Road Accident As Driver Escapes
February 14, 2026
NEWS

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has confirmed the death of a female worshipper of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Church following a lone vehicular accident at the NYSC Bus-Stop inward Igando, Lagos State.

In a press release on Saturday, the agency stated that it “solemnly notifies the public of a grievous lone-vehicle accident that culminated in the tragic and untimely death of a female pedestrian at the NYSC Bus-Stop, inward Igando, Lagos.”

According to LASTMA, the deceased was “peacefully en route to a worship service at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Church, Igando,” when she was fatally struck by a Mercedes-Benz C-300.

Reports indicated that the victim was “lawfully navigating the designated pedestrian corridor when the vehicle, under circumstances yet to be definitively ascertained, veered into her pathway with devastating and irreversible consequences.”

The agency disclosed that upon receiving distress alerts, its personnel stationed along the Igando axis responded swiftly. It noted that officers “promptly cordoned off the accident scene to forestall secondary collisions and ensure the safety of other road users,” while vehicular movement was regulated to prevent congestion and additional hazards.

In what it described as “a deeply reprehensible development,” LASTMA said the driver of the Mercedes-Benz C-300 fled the scene after realising the fatal outcome of the crash. The agency stated that “this act of flight not only compounds the gravity of the tragedy but also constitutes a flagrant violation of statutory and civic obligations incumbent upon motorists involved in traffic incidents.”

The accident vehicle was subsequently secured and evacuated through joint efforts between LASTMA operatives and officers of the Nigeria Police Force, Igando Division. The coordinated response, according to the statement, ensured the restoration of normal traffic flow in the area.

The tragedy reportedly reverberated at the church when news reached congregants during service. The victim’s husband, who was present at the time, later proceeded to the scene alongside other members and conveyed her remains for necessary rites.

LASTMA added that the causative factors behind the incident remain under investigation by the Nigeria Police Force, noting that findings would guide “appropriate prosecutorial measures against the fleeing driver in accordance with extant traffic and criminal statutes.”

The General Manager of LASTMA, Mr. Olalekan Bakare-Oki, extended condolences to the bereaved family and the MFM Church community, praying that “Almighty God grant them the fortitude and spiritual resilience required to endure the irreparable loss.”

He reaffirmed the agency’s “unwavering commitment to the preservation of human life and the strict enforcement of traffic discipline across Lagos roadways,” urging motorists to exercise vigilance, obey speed regulations and respect pedestrian rights at all times.
