Amazing how Putin country is still the world's 9th largest economy despite economic sanctions that could cripple the whole African continent in 3 months. Putin is a genius.

In the next 20 years, China will top the table.

France, just like its African partner - Nigeria, is a nation in declining economic power.

Using this your logic ,then why is SA not there? And who told you nigeria has more resources than India?
India has a larger population and has access to lots of raw materials within her territory.

Manufacturing wise India has been light years ahead of Nigeria since the 90s
The keke napep pdp and obj made popular in Nigeria where did it come from ?

Pharmaceutical drugs also from India.

And lots more .

So please don't come here to try and sell cock and bull story trying to paint nigeria black .
You know nothing. People like you will still come online to blame the backwardness of Nigeria on the large population, instead of blaming corruption, nepotism, incompetence, and inefficiency inherent in the government. You're here attributing large population as one of the contributing factors to India's economic growth.

India that use to be a third world country is now on the list of top ten and no African countries is close

This speaks a lot about Africa leaders we have the man power and nature resources even the market is here in Africa

Something is wrong with the black
India is still a third world country. Being a third world country is about development and not a larger GDP.

You know why they're no longer at that position? You wonder why the US never fight any of their mates but instead loves bullying powerless nations?

Make dem try am, they too would be replaced like the predecessors.

Well, I still won't deny they've made something great out of that nation. The controllers in the shadows try.

Do you know what India's population is oga? India and Nigeria ni dey the same level, let's not deceive ourselves. However India's growth shows that Nigeria has the potential to break into the world's top ten economies in the next 10 years or less, that is, If we can fix the power sector, curb insecurity, have more private investors. My personal opinion though.

Imagine India a third world country like Nigeria springing up from nowhere in the 2000s to be among the 5th reckoning economies in 2025.

Meanwhile Nigeria with much resources( human, economic and natural) than India is still trailing behind abysmally in every good indices of assessment even on the African continent.

How many military coup did India go through and civil war. Furthermore, who are the neighbors of India?

Did India have a Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and Buhari kinds of president and a kind of Peter Obi as governors in any part of their states who didn't build any school for 8 years as chief executive officer of their state since year 2000? But we're building brewery with millions of dollars but worth less than thousands of dollars less than 10 years after?

Where their banks operating as government pay office dependent banks throughout the 90s to late 2000s?

Was their forex market a round robin setup for money laundering and paying fuel subsidy by government to their friends until Tinubu became president? Or was it a crime if their friends made money? According to Atiku grin

Did they sell their government asset like power, telecom and liquidated their national carrier like Nigeria did under Obasanjo and Atiku the chief auctioneer of government assets and untill now power has not been restored.

Where India technocratic holding such as title holders or real intellectuals solving real life problems not low quality lecturers selling handouts copied from a text book?

The migrant crisis in Libya and the Nigeria experience

The drive for survival and for greener pastures has continued to force millions of West African young men and women to gamble with death in attempts to cross over to Europe and other parts of the world. This quest to escape poverty, hunger, unemployment and insecurity, among other reasons, caused a major segment of Nigeria’s population to seek alternatives for better livelihood prospects for themselves and their families.

Those seeking economic survival see irregular migration as the best alternative, given the difficulty and resources involved in migrating through regular and legitimate routes. In many instances, very few of the original number who set out on these dangerous journeys live to tell their stories. While many regularly drown in the Mediterranean Sea, many also die in the deserts, and others are sold as slaves in a modern slave market.

Most of the victims of this trade are from West Africa. Many of them leave home with expectations of getting to Europe and other destinations perceived to have better economic prospects for them, but they end up in the slave merchant nets in North Africa. The victims are put in camps and sold in open markets in Libya, while the international community watches in silence. The geographical location of Libya renders it a transit route for migrants journeying to Italy and many other parts of Europe.

Firstly, since you did not say COPIED, then it is clearly your personal opinion hence no need to waste time adding that line.

Secondly, how will we reach our potential without having all children in free schools for nine years as provided for in the UBEC Act that was established by Obasanjo/Atiku PDP administration 27 years ago?

Instead of leveraging matching federal funds to achieve this fundamental objective for sustainable growth, what do we have across the states and LGAs?

Unpaid teachers and insufficent public schools, even for those who claim to be APC progreThief governors.

Before 2023, our GDP was never a real GDP to measure our economic strength against dollar, what we had then was an artificial GDP that was by fiat pegged by all the past successive government, giving a false market value of our economic growth.
At the coming of PBAT in 2023, we have to find our true GDP value in dollars, this is what led to the currency floatation and we saw the large slump in the GDP from $500b+ to $200b+, though this affected our purchasing power value but it helped in finding the true $ value of our GDP. For every single growth today, gives us our genuine growth curve. This, we have already seen. We were never that too rich but we were living a fake life
