Happy New Year to everyone...

Especially people I have been avoiding like airmark, Disstroy and Elder

May our days be filled with joy!
Amen.

But stop avoiding me like Bassey was doing to Chukwueze at Fulham. ''I am your brudda, i am not your enemy''.

What if all those takes on the new tax law were actually false, and Tinubu's government was right ( for the first time)?

I'm asking because I did a lot of six digits transactions today, and I didn't get taxed. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Abi them never start dey enforce am.🤔🤔

Special account for the money

Following the approval, an Oyo State Government Infrastructure Support Account (No. 2045199879) was opened with First Bank of Nigeria for the intervention fund.

Out of the approved ₦50 billion, the Federal Government, through the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), released ₦30 billion to Oyo State on November 4, 2024.

Where is the money?

As of December 31, 2025, the N30 billion remains untouched in the Oyo State infrastructure account with the First Bank. Interested members of the public may verify this information with the bank.

The Oyo State Government has deliberately refrained from utilising the N30 billion already released in recognition of the fact that the remaining N20 billion has remained withheld by the relevant federal agencies for reasons that have not been communicated to the state.

Given the disgraceful drama of the last couple of days from the Federal Government on the approval, the government of Oyo State is convinced on the wisdom of its decision to 'wait and see' before deciding what to do with the money.
it is looking like they quietly allowed makinde to enter into a trap of his own making

it looks like there is no difference between makinde and palliative hoarders

Makinde does claim , however that OYSG have used their own funds to provide relief for the Bodija victims.

Makinde really fall hands...He first subtly denied it by asking for proof, and when the proof was shared, he claimed only 30 billion was realised, from which 4.5 billion was spent to settle those affected, and now this...He has shown he is no different from others.

See eh,my issues with Nigeria is we are so numb to deaths, after mishap that claimed lots of lives ,the next reasonable thing that any country with functioning government will do is conduct an investigation, then place measures that will help prevent such from occuring.

Lagos market fire incident, Anthony Joshua accident, boat mishaps. What are measures being placed to prevent such from happening again.we just live carefree.

This has not changed anything, rather it reinforces my argument.

1. Fayoye claimed Makinde received N50billion from FG and said he had proof.

2. Makinde requested from Fayose proof of FG releasing N50billion to Oyo State.

3. Fayose released a document dated August 24 2024 and the document specifically stated that FG was unable to grant request for some special intervention projects. One of such request was Oyo State government's N50 billion request.

My question is why is everyone seeing what Fayose released as evidence for what it is not?

Now evidence has emerged that indeed FG released N30 billion to Oyo State government and not N50 billion as claimed by Fayose.

It is right for people of the state to drag Oyo State government led by Seyi to explain why the N30 billion was not disbursed while the victims had to manage a paltry N4.5 billion.

NB: I was not in any way defending Seyi, I was only pointing out that Fayose's expose was neither here nor there. His release was not confirming release of funds, in fact this FG document confirming release of N30 billion came 3 months after that Fayose's document.

Fayose didn't set any trap, he just wanted to force a document he didn't read the contents down the throat of people who don't read well.

He added that Israel was capable of supporting such efforts “in Africa, with intel, in the Middle East, with a lot of means,” stressing that protecting Christian communities was “a main part of our agenda” and would continue “with greater force and greater might in this coming year.”

Netanyahu doesn't make empty promise. 2026 it will not be business as usual.

They’ve started hyping Fubara again, as if recent history didn’t happen. It’s clear he learned nothing from his political benefactor and is still playing childish games. If not for that suspension, he would have been impeached long ago. But he should continue listening to online cheerleaders who have no stake in the real consequences.

I was in Rivers State during the 2023 elections and spent time with an LGA chairman. I can say this confidently: without Wike’s structure and influence, Fubara would not have won a single local government area.

If both men are left to face each other without external interference, Fubara would record one of the most devastating political losses Nigeria has seen since 1960.

Tinubu has started again. If he’s truly confident in his leadership and popularity, there would be no need to sponsor crises across opposition parties nationwide. These constant interferences only expose one thing: insecurity. A leader who is sure of himself doesn’t spend this much energy destabilising alternatives. cheesy

*pretends to be shocked* 😱

The law was signed by September 25 before Adams left office,he feared the worse for the Jewish community, unfortunately the worst is here.

Mamdani is on self destruct mode and he's taking NY down with him.

There's a reason even a demon like Obama didn't back him , because mamdani is a greater demon.

BREAKING: MILITARY NEUTRALIZES SUICIDE BOMBERS, FOILS ATTACK IN BORNO

A major catastrophe was averted in Borno State today as troops of the Joint Task Force, Operation Hadin Kai, neutralized three suicide bombers and several armed escorts during a high-stakes operation in Gwoza Local Government Area.
The operation was carried out along the Guduf–Pulka axis following actionable intelligence that indicated the movement of suicide bombers toward civilian-populated areas.
Acting on the information, military forces, in collaboration with local volunteer groups, mounted a covert surveillance and tracking mission. This led to the successful interception of the terrorists before they could reach their intended targets.
According to military sources, the suicide bombers were engaged and neutralized in a controlled encounter, preventing what could have resulted in mass civilian casualties. The troops also engaged the armed terrorists escorting the bombers, inflicting heavy casualties and forcing the surviving elements to flee toward the Mandara Mountains under sustained fire.
Following the encounter, troops recovered suicide vests and various Improvised Explosive Device (IED) components. These materials were immediately secured and rendered safe by Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams. Further exploitation of the area led to the recovery of four AK-47 rifles abandoned by the fleeing insurgents, while two motorcycles used for logistics were destroyed.
Preliminary intelligence assessments reveal that the bombers were dispatched from hideouts in the Mandara Mountains by the Ali Ngulde-led Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS) faction of Boko Haram. The faction has continued to attempt the deployment of suicide operatives against soft targets despite ongoing military pressure.
In response to the foiled plot, the Theatre Command has intensified operations across known terrorist enclaves, focusing on detecting and neutralizing suicide networks through a combination of human intelligence and communication intercepts.
Authorities have also strengthened collaboration with community-based volunteer groups and other security agencies across Borno and Yobe States to prevent infiltration. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious persons or movements to the nearest security post.

Be like we are about to see Fubara vs Wike round two fight.
Fubara really dealt with Wike and him HoA loyalist in round one, until Tinubu used wuruwuru SoE to suspend him. Maybe joining APC has given him the protection he need...

The Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Qatar, and Egypt expressed their deepest concern regarding the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, which has been exacerbated by severe, harsh, and unstable weather conditions, including heavy rainfall and storms, and compounded by the continued lack of sufficient humanitarian access, acute shortages of essential life-saving supplies, and the slow pace of the entry of essential materials required for the rehabilitation of basic services and the establishment of temporary housing.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ballzproblem2: 3:09pm On Jan 02
I said it before mamdani gives me the antichrist(MBS) vibes, both mamdani and mbs have this sort of sinister smile but you can see the wickedness on their face if you are spiritually awake.

The antichrist is going to sign peace treaty with Jews giving them a false sense of security, then persecute them.

What is happening in new York is the foreshadow of what is to come.

But unlike mbs the Jews can smell mamdani bullshit from miles away.

With Obi in ADC now

An Atiku/Obi ticket is looking very likely which can rattle the current govt. We will know by mid year the direction they want to go. but the ticket looks formidable

My early permutations on a Tinubu/Shettima vs Atiku/Obi

North East - Atiku/Obi 5 states, Tinubu/Shettima 1 state
South East - Atiku/Obi 5 states, Tinubu/Shetima 0 State
South West - Atiku/Obi 0 States, Tinubu/Shetima 6 states
North West - Atiku/Obi 4 states, Tinubu/Shetimma 3 states
North Central - Atiku/Obi 2 states, Tinubu/Shetimma 4 states

At this point Atiku/Obi 16 states(Plus FCT) Tinubu/Shetimma(14 states)

With South-South left. The South South will be the decider in 2027
