But my sitting room is a little bigger than that

Did you also buy the television from the 300k because it wasn't in the initial picture
Yes nah, that TV is 35k, Including the chairs.

A client approached me and said:
“My budget is ₦300k. I want to transform my mother’s living room.”

I’m an interior designer, and this is the result of the project completed in Ogun State.

The goal was to achieve a clean, functional, and modern living room within a limited budget.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback from house owners and professionals here.

What do you think of the transformation?
So how much did you spend

N300k is too little for this type of transformation. Did you make any profits at all or you did it for charity? This is perfect! Great job.

Even if he stole the materials, that's more than 300k...

That TV console alone is worth more than 500K

Come.and do the same 300k budget for me. Lagos
The wall flex board should cost total of nothing less than #150,000 to fix.
Tiles 7 cartons can do that
12pcs ×7 = 84 pieces of tiles.
#8,500 per dozen tiles by 7 =#59,500
Two bags of cement at #19,000
Workmanship= #35,000
Screeding = #20,000
The only problem is sand, if you don't have sand it will cost way above #300k.
But if you have sand #283,500 you can have that.....here in the east a truck of sand is expensive.

On a budget of 300k, this is very impressive. As someone involved in home makeovers, I'm really wowed. shocked.

I'm a professional painter though and also a wallpaper expert. Kindly reach out to me if you've got any job for me. Let me wow you too wink

Cement costs, sand cost and tiles costs can be taken out. Mine is more of the 4 walls rather than floor as the whole floor is tiled
