izzou:Na why I say AJ no sabi move for Naija They were being trailed by a Mitsubishi Pajero of security escorts So why would the driver try to escape from the escorts meant to be protecting them to the extent of driving on the hard shoulder? See where the truck is parked. The driver swerved back into the road after drifting onto the hard shoulder. So based on one of these two images, he was either trying to overtake on the hard shoulder, or he was trying to steer back into the road after losing control and drifting to the hard shoulder

raumdeuter:2. I have trusted hands (non-family/ friends). They know my tendencies when it comes to driving, are trustworthy, respect my privacy and have been consistent. 3. Izzou answered part of it. Lagos and Imo/ Owerri for the most part. I no dey do unnecessary long journeys, I don't trust most Naija roads, drivers or airports. If you are in surrounding cities, you gats drive come meet me for Lag or Owerri/ Villa. No invite me come event outside the city of my location, because I no go come. E no serious like that. |

Roland17:When i am in Naija, my cousin gives me her company driver. That is on company payroll to drive me around. 2. I have to travel to Ibadan anytime I am in Lagos cos that's where my folks are. I have contemplated flying to Ibadan or taking trains for safety reasons. But I use cars. Multiple cars leave Lagos by 8am and we must stay within range of each other when driving. If you cant see the other slow down and wait for the other to catch up. When leaving Ibadan we must be on express by 1pm So no dark travels |

izzou:They are in Wike's camp, but the Governor hold the influence in the State. Tinubu will either decide to work with Fubara or Wike, but i believe their is an arrangement in place for Fubara for joining APC... |

Roland17:I feel you though. A man can never be too careful especially when it comes to issues regarding his safety. Police wahala also dey for one side then the bandits who even people you know can arrange with. AJ or his family fall hand with that kind of driving arrangement but nobody can also predict what will happen in the coming minute. I can only wish him recovery from the trauma and peace to the departed. |

WhoDeyHause:Happy New Year Baba.. Naija is a lot of fun but like Ibime succinctly put it “AJ no sabi move for Naija”. E get how dem dey move for Naija, especially these days! I am honestly gutted for the family of his friends that died. Dying is one thing, dying in a foreign land while vacationing is a totally different thing. I can’t imagine how helpless they feel. Las las na God get life.. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by otipoju(m): 3:42am On Jan 03 |
Roland17:Driver was probably trying to impress them by getting to his destination faster than the normal . I still blame the passengers though. If someone is speeding too much, you have to firmly tell him to stop. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Roland17(m): 3:45am On Jan 03 |
raumdeuter:Your cousin dey try for you. If you weren’t a good brother/ cousin, she for no reason am. I like your plan, especially staying within range and avoiding dark travels. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Roland17(m): 3:53am On Jan 03 |
otipoju:I 💯 agree with your post, particularly the 2nd line. Before the accident, I am certain the driver completed some dangerous maneuvers and none of the occupants give am with correct slap or warning. The dangerous passing that caused the accident couldn’t have been his first dangerous maneuver, but nobody was firm with him. No way he attempts that kain dangerous maneuver if AJ give am correct blow to the head from behind, after the first attempt. Also, don’t rule out alcohol. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by otipoju(m): 5:36am On Jan 03 |
Roland17:Sure...they were all probably finding it exciting. Still a very nasty way to die though. |

WhoDeyHause:Protest is a fundamental human right. Iranians are free to protest over poor government policy and register their frustration or dissatisfaction. As a Nigerian, you can't relate because 20/20 is still fresh in our memory. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OkpaNsukkaisBae(m): 6:51am On Jan 03 |
DeadPresidents:Cut Iran some slack. Nigeria is not under any illegal economic sanctions imposed by the West, how is it going for us?? At a time in the decades following the second half of 20th century Naija economy was doing better than China, Malaysia etc. Where we dey today? Before the kickoff of Russian SMO in Ukraine in 2022, Iran was literally the most sanctioned country on earth. You cannot beat a child & tell him not to cry. Even as large/big Russia is terms of production capacity, natural resources, massive land for agriculture etc, they are still demanding that the West lift sanctions as one of the conditions before Moscow sign on any peace deal. If US impose half of the sanctions they levied again Tehran on Nigeria, Nigeria will collapse. No two ways about it.

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by iamoyindamola(m): 7:09am On Jan 03 |
Roland17:This was why I said AJ trusted the driver too much, the signs were there but they didn't caution him. I remember when I used to have back and forth with my dad anytime I reminded to reduce the speed because he passed speed limit, naija roads are very unpredictable you can pass one good road now and in the next 30 minutes if you think the same road is the same as you left it, the person is living dangerously. |

I am having this thought that Kemi Adeosun will replace Wale Edun as Finance Minister in the coming month, unconfirmed report said Tinubu has already advice Mr Edun do resign because of his health issue.. She was a good MoF under Buhari until the cabal forced her hand to resign over the NYSC Cert saga. |

TrebleChamp:It’s not just a thought. The process is already underway. She is being introduced back into the ecosystem right now to test the waters and review the response before it is announced. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Abeg abeg abeg! Things I’m not doing this year is going back and forth with niggs. How can you blame sanctions for these countries being despotic authoritarian hell-holes? Iran’s first sanctions ran from 1979 - 1981. That’s only 3 fiukin years. Latter sanctions were arms embargoes and the like. Maybe na sanctions wey the west put us under during Abacha regime naim be the reason police dey extort boys today |

DeadPresidents:you are being told iran is under the most severe sanctions besides russia and have been for decades you are talking about first sanctions do you know about the bloody iran-iraq war of 1980 to 1988 saddam asked washington before invading if they disapproved and they gave him a non-answer he interpreted it as a green light and for 8 long years he waged a brutal war against iran iraq was the stronger of the two at the time and they did a number on the iranians that war in 1980 was literally a few months after the revolution of 1979 the ayatollah never even siddon for chair drink water before a total war with a stronger adversary right on his border in 1987 when the war was still ongoing, the us decided it was the perfect time to introduce biting sactions since iran was still fiercely resisting those sanctions are still on iran till date with more added for good measure we all know how much of a backwater china was, nigeria was richer, until their rapproachment with washington if we tell you guys to read you'll think we are just pulling your legs this is all public information that an educated adult should be able to suss out on their own how i go dey explain wetin gemini go drop with references in 2 seconds iran refused to get a nuclear weapon because of sanctions and in 2015 they got reprieve under obama but it all went to sh*t when 45/47 entered pennsylvania ave persia is a proud, ancient civilization you'll not tell them to eat sh*t and they'll answer yessir when the protests inevitably end and usreal attacks they'll rain hell on both american and israeli installations in the region the average iranian does not care who rules, they just want the suffering to end even these protests are pretty much the equivalent of "guys, i know you're facing a hostile adversary, but you got to fix this sh*t. i don't care how you do it, but we can't keep living like this." the guys who run the country though want their pound of flesh because they've personally paid a huge price, right from the revolution to the iraq war to the recent aggressions iran has simply not been given a chance to succeed like china, russia, or even vietnam and whatever you think about the ruling regime -- i think they're incompetent you can't say they don't have verve just higher energy prices is destroying german industry how many years has it been, just 3 years germany o machines in pale skin but you want to cho cho cho on iran's case because of ignorance that you're too lazy to clear up if nigeria faces just 5% of what this iranian regime has had to endure, na haiti dem go dey compare us to -Lord |
