If Maduro have been truly captured then he's fvcked. There's nothing anyone can do about it. But if he hasn't, he should stay hidden wherever he is and don't even try to prove he's safe because the US will be watching and working out his location. Whoever replaces Maduro should learn and not be a fuul like the dancing clown. Maduro himself is useless to the US. They want oil and they can't get it unless they occupy the country. That's where the real battle is. |

You can see the NVBs have suddenly disappeared. After repeatedly claiming that the US will not invade Venezuela and that the whole thing is about drugs and not oil, they have once again witnessed their greedy American lords disappoint them. For now, they are still awaiting official US statements so they know what talking points to follow. Once they get their talking points, expect them to unleash their madness on this thread.

β‘Iran's Khamenei: The protest is justified, but protest is different from rioting. We talk to the protester; officials must talk to the protester. But talking to a rioter is useless. The rioter must be put in his place. |

LordAdam16: That's why I say Maduro is useless to them. Now they have him, what next? He no longer has power over anything in Venezuela. He's like this our rich politicians who have been feeding fat on money meant for the masses. Now let him suffer small. But they must never give up their oil. It belongs to every Venezuelan. The real battle is for the oil. And Venezuela must be ready. No room for weakness. |

LordAdam16:Honestly, I was a bit worried that if Netanyahoo still has the audacity to be talking about a second round strike on Iran so early, he probably have something on the ground in Tehran that he is banking on to change the calculus in his favor. And we both know that from the high level of infiltration during the 12-D war, Iran has a huge counterintelligence problem. The security vulnerability you mentioned I think also has to do with inside power bloc tussle. Those within the spheres of the Ayatollah theocracy sees themselves as the ultimate, purifier and supreme formulator and guardian of Iran's political ideology. Then you have the IRGC, which operates like a powerful parallel state, controlling vast economic assets, security operations, and proxy networks (Axis of Resistance), often clashing with elected officials and the Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS). Then you have the moderate bloc, and this is where things get complicated for Iran's security. The moderate bloc encompasses the government and its elected bodies and political figures (like the two-faced President Pezekhstan). This bloc controls the MOIS and in their acclaimed quest for better economic stability and diplomacy, they often oppose the IRGC's aggressive foreign policy, security and economic dominance. What have you at the end of the day? Three distinct blocs with conflicting interests and goals that clearly undermine Iran's national security priorities. Just as one former IRGC leader puts it last year; the way Iran's intelligence architecture is currently structured is so poor, with nuclear responsibilities, and lacking a unified, focused apparatus to deal with the types of sophisticated intelligence and security threats posed by actors like Israel. Notwithstanding the aforementioned anomalies, 12D gave Iran the opportunity not just to clean house, but reorganize the country's intelligence setup. Enough with the useless overlaps. It has yielded nothing. Responsibilities need to be sharply spelt out and divided among the IRGC and MOIS. Each should have clearly spelt out and focused goals that aligns only with the country's domestic and foreign policy interests. The damned Ayatollah, so-called supreme leader should stop meddling in Iranian intelligence and counterintelligence operations. This is not the 1600s where you can Lord everyone around in the name of religion. Lastly, preventive measures need to be in place to ensure that a large number of high ranking officials are not living in a single building where they can be killed en-mass in a single targeted strike. Until I see these changes, I will always keep my fingers crossed. |

WriteerNg:I support Russia, but we need to be truthful here. We should give the US some credit for this mission. I wish Russia had started this way, by now, the war will have been over. One of the main reasons Ukraine is still standing is because of Zelensky. If Zelensky had been killed at the beginning, I believe the war would have been over by now. Maduro is not popular in Venezuela, and removing him has always been a US objective. In fact, Trump openly pressured him to leave for weeks, but he refused. Now their mission has been achieved. The US will likely install a puppet government because the military generals will be too afraid to take over. I also believe this was an internal sabotage, someone close to Maduro was working with the US. I support Russia, but I try to be objective. You, however, are not objective. Anything Russia does is right to you, and anything the US does is wrong. As things stand now, Russia needs to be ruthless, no more mercy. The war has weakened Russia, if not for the Ukraine war, the US would not have invaded Venezuela , and Syria would not have fallen either. All this time, you were focusing on Russiaβs planes landing in Venezuela. Now we can see that Venezuela is very weak. And for those saying it would not have been easy if it was in Nigeria. We donβt even have air defense, if the US decided to act, they could capture Tinubu in under ten minutes. In fact, Nigeria might not even realize the US was present before it was over. Overall, we need peace in the world. That is why I support Russia and China to help curb US military excesses. |
