At this stage, China cannot afford to stay neutral, you must pick a side and put in the resources & chest the casualties. The EU, NATO, New Zealand, Australia, Canada especially their European members are paying the ultimate price in Ukraine through funds, weapon shipment, intelligence sharing, military instructors.

It is likely that the Chinese told Maduro they can't help. Dem don pass that stage. I was expecting China to sail their warship to the Carribean towards the Venezuelan coast showing massive solidarity to Maduro.

There's something I noticed, some countries can be very lucky by having a leader who's very competent on the domestic front, lifting people out of poverty, giving the nation a new face lift with massive modern infrastructures however the same leader can fail woefully on foreign policy decisions. Something which a country like China cannot afford to do at this point in time.

Now, I see why Russia is not taking any chances. Last year they conducted like four tactical nuclear exercise. Went on a massive production of nuclear bomb mobile shelters.

If Russia and China especially China cannot project a military power outside their region and sphere of influence, then, they are useless.

Look at how Us is fighting Russia using Ukraine on their region. Yet, Russia and China couldn't do the same to Venezuela. They fail Venezuela.

If China fails to reunify with Taiwan this year either by diplomacy or by war, it means China is a weak nation. The same with Russia that is still struggling with Ukraine for the past 4 years.

The Taliban government is still in power after 20 Years of war. The Maduro government is still in control after Maduro was kidnapped. It’s the same outcome in both situations but one happened in a day while the other took 20 years.

Hopefully Trump and his 🤡🤡 will move on and declare victory. It’s unfortunate but in my opinion Maduro took one for the team and this is better than millions dying in a war.

Actually modern 3D radars and low-altitude surveillance radars are designed to pick them up. So helicopters can actually be detected. Why that wasn't the case here remains to be seen.

Even a lone soldier could take one of them out if the right circumstances are in place. The military heads simply chose not to fight eother due to fear or treachery. We've seen this in Syria and Afghanistan.

i want to believe the main the reason the military didn't shoot down the Helicopters was because of the civilians on the ground, if not they are the most useless military in the world or they were in cooperation with the US.
even their airbase and military bases were targeted without the air defenses activated.
