Please house I need your help, the wife that I've married for over 14 years now just left me today with 4 children. We didn't have any issue before until 31st of December, 2025 when I discovered a photocopy of Nigeria passport in her bag and fighting started when I asked her what was going on. We've been dragging this since that day but today she confessed that she's already done with me and I should not worry about her anymore. She left my house this morning o. Today is the most saddest day of my life. Pls pray for me and my children.

Your wife only left the house and you are already crying. What will you do if she decides to leave you forever?

When I keep preaching to people not to give birth to a football or basketball team, they won't listen.

Imagine if you had just a kid, or at most two....you won't even bother if your partner leaves you because one or two kid can easily be taken care of.

Boss, go and sit down and rest, tomorrow is work you have to prepare for office or whatever you do.
Wife left you and you're busy spreading the news as though we can provide her or make her change her mind.
Get ready to invite your mom or sister to attend to the children while you're out there doing your best to put food on the table.
If for no moral justification she left you then so be it...but if there's something we don't know then you're alone in this...the fact is....you're alone in this! No one can help you...realize that!

Where is she right now? Like, who is she staying with?

Reach out to her family members and tell them what's up. Share your concern with them and assure them that what you're worried about now is her welfare and safety.

That fight and the passport isn't a good sign, but let's keep a cool head.

Focus on the kids for now.

Give it some days and let her family speak to her and find out what's up, if she was planning on leaving her marriage and starting afresh elsewhere, why, etc.

Try not to get defensive in the next few weeks and months (you're going to be accused of a lot, some will be true, others will be rewriting of history and some will be lies). Keep a cool head and get your family around you.

And for the love of the Lord, do NOT go running to another woman. If you need help with the kids, go and call your family members. Don't jump from frying pan to fire.

I am very sure you are fully aware of her move you just ignored the signs. As a Africa man, you should always be a man. I will advise to look for another woman and marry, latest in 3 months time if you have the resources. Your greatest mistake is not marrying fast because she will surely come back. Marry another woman and forget about her. I am very sure someone somewhere is lying to her.

Let her go bros, pick up yourself and don't bother to look for her. All you need to do is to inform her family that their daughter is no longer with you.

When my family called her this afternoon, she said she's leaving me forever that she's traveling abroad by next week. I've called her family and explained everything to them, but til now I've not seen any reply.

This is 2026, if you don't have an emotional and social connection with your own children, I suggest your pick up a book or more on the subject and begin reading or listening to them during your downtime. There are literally millions of books and audiobooks out there on how to be a good parent to your children. So, begin now to be intentional about it. 🥱🥱

By the way, what is the age gap between you and your wife? Did she inform you of whether or how she will be sending you child support for the children? If you both did not at least have this discussion, is suggest you immediately tell her she owes at least that and should make arrangements to begin sending child support. She has no right to be a deadbeat mother to those children. Be ready to take her to court if she thinks of not at least playing child support. 🥱🥱🥱
