That's why the problem of insecurity persists. Governments in Nigeria don't see problems as chances to shine at solving them, but as plots against them. See also their supporters too.

And note that in all circumstances, whoever was the oppostion blamed the government for being bad.

That's why I don't like commenting much on nairaland sometimes. Everyone is in it for themselves, not for the country, and always looks at you as if you are, depending on the situation, an agbado or obidient.

But the bad part is that we, as a country, still haven't mastered the art of combating terrorism and guerilla warfare.

The Nigerian security architecture is designed for "face to face" battles and we seem not to be able to deviate from it.

We are facing a different kind of monster that the Nigerian army was never trained for.

To do?

Get consultants in guerilla fighting from countries that have perfected it like the Israelis. If not, na so the scores go dey count dey go.

Bandits are offshoots of Boko Haram fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal laws, the same Sharia criminal laws adopted unilaterally by the political and religious leaders in the 12 far north states of Nigeria.

Southern politicians are waiting for this type of killings to start in the south before they understand that one Nigeria with people clutching tight to practicing Sharia criminal justice system in the 21st century, is a mirage.

This bandits are operated in a rural area with no good roads and easy access to Internet or telecommunications.

So Tinubu should carry guy and go into the bush.

this is true. During Kaduna Sharia clash of early 2000... I personally count more them 50 people being burnt alive. If you hear news about killing in the north it's true. Or army kill more them 40 ISIS terrorist just few days ago.
