People can easily typed rubbish.

This bandits are operated in a rural area with no good roads and easy access to Internet or telecommunications.

So Tinubu should carry guy and go into the bush.

it appears most people who report these evil here don't know the difference between BANDITS and TERRORISTS..so they use the terms interchangeably at will...na wao!!
Now, let me attempt to breakdown the groups and how they ooerate as I have come to understand them in the course of my research and following their trends:

1 *.BOKOHARAM* : Bokoharam is an Islamic extremist terrorist group in North East Nigeria. Seeks to establish an Islamic state and are opposed to Western Education and influence. They've been involved in Mass kidnappings of School girls and attacks on Government infrastructure..bombings, mass killings and kidnappings in the NE region since 2009....or so. Goal is to establish an Islamic state in Nigeria 🇳🇬

2. *ISWAP* : splinter group from Bokoharam working closely with the much dreaded ISIS called ISWAP(Islamic state of West African Province). They are more extreme, they target the Government and the Military. Their Goal is also to establish an ISLAMIC STATE within Nigeria 🇳🇬 😳

3. *ANSARU(?)* : There's also ANSARU a fragment of the Sahel region desolation...I think they also come in from Sudan and have Links with Al Qaeda. They're also Islamic extremists Jihadidt group attacking foreigners and humanitarian workers and are bent on establishing an Islamic state in Nigeria.

4. *The Lakurawa* : There is alsoLakurawa group who migrated from Burkina Faso, Mali , Niger ...apparently from Libya too...( they're amalgamation of herders Jihadists also meant to protect some communities in Nigeria against cattle rustlers and "armed bandits". Perhaps these are the ones Buhari desperately wanted to bequeath portions of the Southern farmlands to ...RUGA??. They too have now become armed bandits, into kidnappings, collecting Levies from communities and imposing fines on the communities...These are Islamic jihadist groups mixed with herders....perhaps these are the ones buhari and other politicians in the North contracted to cause mayhem during elections.

5. *The Armed Bandits* : The only group not positioned to attack Christians and Moderate Muslims ( different in ideology) are the Armed Bandits. These are the ones who just attacked Borgu in Niger state...they're the ones we see in videos in forests kidnappings. Their target is Nigerian government officials, business men, retired Generals ( they probably were the ones that took out late Alex Barde former CAS) 🤔.They were originally being used by politicians for illegal mining of un declared natural minerals in the North of Nigeria. They're hired to give protection and cover to the illegal Chinese miners of Nigeria mineral resources in the North..in the forest and ungoverned areas..for peanuts ...of course they are equipped with sophisticated weapons....These guys have now become agitated, they want better lives for themselves and a share of the proceeds from illegal mining activities in Northern Nigeria..They're aware that these monies go to private pockets and do not reflect in the Nigerian GDP or even formally recorded as Nigerian IGRs from the Northern states...or even prospering the North in anyway. These are the guys that now go live in tiktok and showing off monies they've earned from banditary, kidnappings etc for them they think that what they're doing is ACTIVISM and not necessarily extremism. These are the ones that Sheikh Gumi now speak for and have been advocating COMPENSATION for them like the Niger delta boys were compensated in their times. That's why he's been singing from both sides of the mouth about NEGOTIATIONS & AMNESTY and not KINETIC approach against them 😒 .

*My take* : Truly, the "Nigerian project" as it is, is so *COMPLEX...* I have been saying we don't belong together with these people and at minimum we should go regional with a weak centre...so everybody can manage their resources...those who don't have minerals will farm and survive.

That guy doesn't understand the capacity and damage that weapons can cause. 100% correct on your assessment of why Buhari disarmed the south, locked the borders during covid which coincided with Igboho's clamour for self defence, while leaving the northern borders open for weapons and radical, war trained islamists to come into Nigeria.
