Niger state road is just too bad, considering they’ve had two head of state from the state. From Suleja to Kainji, na death trap be those road. We spent 9+ hours in Niger alone

Izzou, how you dey do am whenever you Dey go north cause apart from that Kaaba Abuja nassarawa road, the rest na trash, even kaduna kafanchan road na rubbish.

Nigerian government no dey try at all
Niger state is very big. Without bad roads you can almost spend 6hours inside it. You will travel for hours and still see sign post of Niger state. Why you no take the Lokoja route

This is the key thing. America will be foolish to allow a resource rich country in its hemisphere to go rogue and be controlled by other enemy states

America has to dictate how things are done in its hemisphere
By your argument, everything putin is doing is also justified. Putin too should not allow a resource rich country within his hemisphere go rogue and be controlled by enemy states

It also justifies any eventual actions by China against Taiwan.

That is why Trump "understands" Putin and is sympathetic to him. America wont accept a country like Ukraine ambitions at its borders.
Its the sign that Russia is no longer the superpower it used to be that is why Ukraine is happening
The only thing stopping Russia from extracting Zelensky like Maduro is the support of US and NATO

Those are American leftist that are mourning. No one who actually lived in Venezuela or had anything to do with the country will celebrate Maduro

The traffic in Abuja road is much that’s why most traveling bus used the Niger route, we entered Niger around some minutes past four in the evening and left the state around some minutes to 2 in the morning. A lady in the bus who was traveling that route for the first time started calling her family that she feels the driver has ulterior motive grin grin

Egbom if you see Kafanchan road, the coal tar is already washed off, and the road is already like desert, you womt be praying for your car to break down there cause anything fii sup there

But Nassarawa road is too nice even though there’s a toll gate there but you’d know the difference when plying that road

I tried both roads when I was going to Jos back in 2004. The Niger route was way longer as we went through Lambata Mokwa Lapai small part of Suleija and Abuja before facing the Kaduna road now brached towards Kagoro, Kafanchan Saminanka to Jos

It was very long and rugged the only good part was the Abuja to Kaduna before we left that road

Kogi route is shorter IMO but very dangerous due to robbers

That was my experience over 20yrs ag

i am sure you realize if trump pulled this same stunt on Tinubu, on Buhari, on GEJ , there would be nigerians who celebrated it.

some afgans celebarted when the us invaded , others celebrated when they left

https://alternativeto.net/news/2026/1/x-now-lets-any-user-ai-edit-other-users-images-without-consent-and-there-is-no-opt-out/

X now lets any user AI-edit other users’ images without consent, and there is no opt out

A few days ago X introduced a new AI Image Editing button that lets any user modify images posted by others, even without the original uploader’s consent. Image owners are not notified when edits are made, and the feature is enabled by default with no opt-out option (at least not so far).

Any user can access an Edit Image button on standard image posts, which opens a prompt based interface powered by Grok and returns edits within seconds. The tool includes options for writing prompts, previewing results, and sharing the altered image across profile pages and the For You feed. The button appears on all profiles, regardless of whether they belong to regular users, verified accounts, or public figures.

The rollout has triggered backlash not only among artists and photographers, who see their copyrighted content being used and modified with little effort, but it has also affected thousands of regular users, especially women whose perfectly normal shared photos are being edited into suggestive or invasive scenarios without consent, which is an explicit violation of privacy.
hmmmm

Baba wrong way if you are going to Jos from SW.

The kogi route wasn't dangerous around that time so why did you have to follow that longer route.

The Kogi route was always dangerous, Armed robbers stopped my bus In Kogi around Adavi LGA back then

It was around the time the robbers attacked a bus and told the passengers to lie down on the road. Then other vehicles unknowingly ran over them.

Which was shorter, Ibadan through Niger state and Kaduna to Jos. or Ibadan through Kogi Nassarawa to Jos

Sorry to hear that.

I always count myself lucky cus not for once have i had an armed robbers attacked my bus or had an accident travelling that road to Jos from SW for 7years around that time.

Although Nigeria was relatively safe then but i still count myself lucky. Our government needs to do better on our roads and toll them.

But the US military is the strongest the world has ever known. They did this without informing any of their allies maybe except Israel. Maduro was living in a fortified military base, yet it didn't deter them. They went in, got him and his wife without any casualty and left. Respect.
U don dey add Maggi and salt. Maduro was in the presidential palace in Caracas when they captured him. Not military base or bunker. In fact US did not attack any Venezuelan military base.

Niger state has a lot of bad roads.....A whole lot.

The two ex presidents they had doesn't count much. Those guys were presidents in the far back 90s. Some of these roads didn't have much traffic as it has now

Na manage we dey manage am, pending when our Professor in Practice will remember it

So Tinubu and Paul had lunch, and only one poor picture was taken, which was later edited with Grok..

Just one picture..

That is because when you look at Nigerias situation removing subsidy is the best policy which is why every candidate said it expliciyly that it would be removed
How is removing a citizens benefit the best policy?

Maybe you know more about the operation than Marco Rubio who clearly said they captured Maduro in a military base....
