Osimhen has an attitude problem. - Italian journalist Alvino by Nairalandankra(op): 1:33am On Jan 06
osimhen is a very “selfish” player who is fond of snapping at teammates when they fail to find him. Thereby ruining team morale.. i] - Alvino

Flashback In 2022, Italian journalist Alvino, described the Jagun Jagun as “selfish”.
Today, he aggressively confronted Man Of The Match, Lookman leaving him appearing confused. Osimhen reduced his pace and later asked Eric Chelle for a sub. In the 68th minute, Moses Simon replaced the Galatasaray man.

After the game, Osimhen ignored the team and strutted to the showers. This is not for first time Victor Osimhen is snapping.

In 2023, at Napoli he was subbed off after missing a PK, he openly blasted the Napoli coach, Rudi Garcia. Of course, the famous outburst at Super Eagles legend, Finidi George.

Last year August he snapped at Yunus Akgün for not passing to him At Galatasaray, a game they won 4-0.

Same 2025 March, he got mad at the Nigerian team for not beating Zimbabwe and walked away, despite players begging him to stay for the huddle. Osimhen angrily strutted into the dressing room.

Interestingly, this time, some fans are supporting his actions. Arguing that, Ademola Lookman was indeed selfish. Even though he already created two goals (one for Osimhen) and scored one for himself.

Others argued that, Ademola Lookman doesn’t deserve the disrespect from Osimhen. And should be dropped.

Osimhen overreacted. Simple! It's normal to react but overdoing it is abnormal. You don't allow your emotions to becloud your sense of reasoning. Osimhen did. He was pointing finger straight at Lookman. That's irresponsible of him. He is a fine player but he should work on his bad attitudes towards teammates. He should apologize to his teammates.

He's the main reason we are not going to the World Cup. I'm only going to watch this afcon if Nigeria reaches the final

When he was used to over reacting at Napoli back then and players like Giovanni di lorenzo and manager complained about his attitude problem because he got subbed on that particular match some of you defended him and call them racist.

Big clubs don't buy players because of just talents, attitude is also considered. This is one reason we only hear speculations that big clubs want to buy him without hearing any concrete offer being made. This guy has to change his attitude.

Hopefully the boys will get to the finals and possibly lift the trophy.
But you missed the fun of the previous matches. The boys have really improved especially Iwobi. Their performance is appealing to the eyes. You come and see for yourself during their next game.

To be honest, I was rather disappointed by Osimhen's behaviour. Yes, there were times when Lookman should have passed the ball to him, but we were already 3-0 up and still dominating the game, so I didn't see any need for the animus he displayed.

He has to work on changing his attitude. His main character syndrome is too much abeg.

The problem is not that osimeh has a bad attitude...

The problem is osimeh not recognizing, taking corrections and working over the years on his attitude.

Even when it has cost him so much and limited his game!

The guy doesn't care about all those attributes, he's always positioned, just give him the ball when necessary is that a big deal??
I have watched a lot of his games from minute 1 to 90, he only overreact when you don't give him what he wants. It's normal to overreact especially when you know you have the space and capabilities as a striker..... to strike and score no be moimoi.

Much ado about nothing.
The coach will talk to him, apologies will be made, & the team moves on. ✌️

Only a god will grant you an opportunity to shine even when he’s in better position not to grant your request… this is where messi comes in, only messi can give a striker an opportunity to score hat-trick in a single game as long as the striker is clinical, he doesn’t want to take the shine but at the end of the day, the shine comes to him.

Only messi can continue giving you an assist freely, Osihmen should stop antagonising his teammates

These two are enough to drop him on the bench for the next games

1. Osimhen reduced his pace and later asked Eric Chelle for a sub. In the 68th minute, Moses Simon replaced the Galatasaray man.

2. After the game, Osimhen ignored the team and strutted to the showers. This is not for first time Victor Osimhen is snapping.

In this life, no one, absolutely no one is indispensable. Boy has a lot of growing up to do. He needs a mentor. I know Oliseh once mentioned this.

No. 1 was an insult to the entire nation. Slowing down his pace and then asking the coach for a sub is the height of disrespect to his teammates in particular and to Nigerians in general.
Going forward he should be a good boy, humble himself and apologize to the entire nation otherwise the coach should start shopping for his replacement, after all other countries don't have Osimhen in their teams yet they are doing fine.

No. 1 is the definition of SABOTAGE. I can pretend to ignore the main crime of his disrespect to his team mate even though I don't tolerate indiscipline but you see those 2, those are what toddlers do that you teach them a lesson in life that it's not all about them. Talk about throwing tantrums...

When you have your striker let him behave like Benjamin Sesko of Man U and see if he will see 5 goals in a season... You need to be a fighter and that's what Osimhen did...
