He was not a member of APC before he delivered for Tinubu in 2023. As far as rivers state is concerned, forget about it. Wike has everything under control.
We can go for an easy bet if you believe fubara can do anything to wike.

Fubara is the most childish politician in Nigeria.

I don't know why nobody can talk to this guy.

Even if you have plans, why not just shut up?

You're in PDP, and insulting a National Secretary of another party.

Tinubu really gave this guy a lot of grace that would soon make the real party members to revolt

Is not as if it's Nigerians will beat them if they don't post any pictures. APC under Buhari and tinubu has been going AWOL for weeks and months without anybody knowing their whereabouts, so why post AI image?
izzou:
So Tinubu and Paul had lunch, and only one poor picture was taken, which was later edited with Grok..

Just one picture..

I'm even more concerned if the lunch happened.

Instead of posting the poor quality picture, they chose to defend AI

Is it that bad?

Twenty abducted villagers rescued in Zamfara

By: Zagazola Makama

All the 20 persons abducted from Dunfawa village in Moriki District of Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State have been rescued unharmed, security sources have confirmed.

The victims were abducted earlier on Saturday by armed bandits who stormed the village, sparking fear among residents of the area.

Sources told Zagazola that the victims were rescued at about 4:00 p.m. following sustained pressure mounted on the abductors by joint security patrol teams operating in the Moriki axis.

According to the sources, the rescue operation involved coordinated efforts by security forces deployed to the area, which forced the bandits to abandon their captives.

“All the 20 abducted persons were rescued safely and without injuries. They were taken to a government hospital for medical check-up and later debriefed before being reunited with their families,” the sources said.

They added that joint patrols had been intensified in the area to forestall further attacks and to facilitate possible rescue of other victims in nearby communities.

Residents of Dunfawa village expressed relief over the rescue, while calling for sustained security presence to prevent future abductions.

PRESS RELEASE

TROOPS DISMANTLE SUICIDE BOMBING NETWORK, INTERCEPT TERRORISTS’ LOGISTICS IN ADAMAWA

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have recorded significant operational successes in Adamawa State, continuing intensified cordon-and-search operations targeting perpetrators and facilitators of the Gamboru Market Mosque suicide bombing.

Following sustained surveillance on identified locations, OPHK troops executed a coordinated cordon-and-search operation in the Yan Lemo area of Mubi South Local Government Area in the early hours of 5 January 2026. Eight suspects were apprehended, including two principal suspects believed to be key facilitators within the suicide bombing network.

A search of the suspects’ residence led to the recovery of cash, mobile phones, identification documents, ATM cards, jewellery, and other personal effects, which are currently undergoing forensic analysis to support ongoing investigations. During identification procedures, a suspect already in custody positively identified the two principal suspects as individuals who supplied materials used in preparing the Improvised Explosive Device (IED). Additional occupants of the residence were also linked to the network.

All suspects remain in military custody, undergoing detailed interrogation to facilitate further intelligence recovery before being transferred for continued investigation.

In a related development, OPHK troops intercepted a large consignment of suspected terrorists’ logistics in Mayo Nguli, Maiha Local Government Area of Adamawa State on 4 January 2026. The troops seized 45 jerrycans of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), with a total volume of approximately 1,125 litres, suspected to have been smuggled for terrorist use.

The suppliers reportedly fled upon sighting the troops, abandoning the petroleum products, which are now in military custody pending further action. The operation was conducted without incident, and no casualties were recorded.

These operations underscore OPHK’s unwavering resolve to dismantle terrorist networks, disrupt logistics and supply chains, prevent future attacks, and bring all perpetrators and collaborators of terrorism to justice. Headquarters OPHK continues to urge members of the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies, as public support remains critical to sustaining security across the North East region.

Ok. Now that he has removed subsidy why are we still borrowing?

Borrowing itself cannot be an excuse to remove subsidy. We are an oil producing nation. How else can be benefit from our natural resources?

If the issue is corruption then Tinubu should be solving that not punishing the citizens.

So APC will not win the governorship election for Wike to be happy?

Now that the National Secretary has openly spoken against him, don't you think the party will be divided because of Wike and outsider?

Fubara can't win a primary election unless they dash him ticket the way obidients have been saying Obi should be dashed ticket without contesting primary.

If Fubara is given the ticket, APC would lose rivers state. Simple.

Lagos Police Officers Return ₦2.2m to Couple, Say Remaining ₦1.1m Had Been Shared

Policemen attached to the Area H Police Command in Ogudu, Lagos State, have extorted $2,000 (N3,330,000) from a couple they wrongfully arrested on December 18, 2025.

According to the report by FIJ, read that the police men involved return part of the looted fund of N2.2 million after getting exposed on X, but are begging to keep N1 million and return only N100,000 more because many policemen have split the money.

Narrating the incident to Journalist, Abiodun Alabi (not real name), a friend of the couple, said, “Sometime before 6am on December 18, 2025, the couple was travelling out of Lagos when the police stopped them.

“They profiled the man and threatened him, then they seized his phones before taking man and wife to Ogudu Police Station.

“There, they made the woman sit outside while they took the man inside to write an incriminating statement without his lawyer present. When it was over, the police demanded $5,000 USDT.

“What followed was an argument over how much should exchange hands. At the end of the day, the innocent man agreed under duress to pay $2,000 USDT. The police provided a wallet address, collected the sum and then deleted every trace of the transaction.

“We got a copy of it because the man did not transfer from his own wallet but had another friend transfer the money from his wallet.”

Transfer receipt

Alabi wrote to the Police Complaints Response Unit (CRU) on the day of the incident, and they sent the phone number of Olumide Jegede, the SO to the Area H Command.

The Journalists team, called Jegede on December 19, 2025, and the policeman invited him to the station for a resolution since the couple had continued their journey after the incident.

On December 23, 2025, Alabi and the couple visited the station and identified the policemen who robbed them.

Olumide Jegede’s office

“Jegede was eating when we arrived. From the gate, the couple began identifying the people who picked them up,” Alabi told FIJ. “We saw the leader and about three other people. Jegede knew them.

“When he finished eating, he looked at me and asked why I was not smiling. He said, ‘This one that you’re coming to me with a straight face, you’re aggressive. It is like you don’t want this matter to be resolved.’

“We soon went into the matter and narrated the entire happening to him. The woman was pregnant and explained how traumatising the experience was for her.

“The leader of the team that robbed them began saying he helped the couple. He said he called the couple aside that day and asked the man, ‘This money that you gave us, is it from your mind? If you had told us it was not from your mind, we would have left you’.

“After attempting to manipulate us, they then threatened to call cybercrimes unit to investigate the man for fraud.”

Alabi explained that the victims explained that they were innocent and insisted on their refund.

Jegede then told them that the money had changed hands and many policemen had shared in the loot, so they could only return N2.3 million, but could only pay N2 million that day and N300,000 some other day.

N2 million refund from police

On Wednesday, the police sent N200,000 and called to say the team leader was ill and they would send N100,000 when he recovered.

Journalist called Police head in area H, Mr. Jegede on Saturday. He said he could not comment on the matter at press time, but that this reporter could visit his office on Monday to follow it up.
