helinues:You have a habit of supporting no sense. Take a look at your screen shot and make sense out of it...... what's the purpose of a stamp duty and VAT on money transferred to ones personal account ? Do you not know that a 100 deduction on that perosns money has made that money lose its value and intended purpose!!!! If someone asks you for #2500 to buy something and you send that transfer and that money ia taxed, will its intended purpose be achieved and how? |

Ignorance is a very big disease, this thing called TAX is not a daily or a monthly deduction. It is a yearly deduction, you only remit VAT monthly. There is a Stamp charge which is N50 which has been existing before now. Plus bank charges. My own opay has not charged me anything like that neither has my Sterling bank. Always use description in your transfer. |

Money from subsidy removal is enough for government if put in a normal and transparent usage. Creating more tax system is a punishment for citizens and also criminal. Some companies in Lagos are taxing their workers with total package of 120k including overtime of 7am to 7pm more than 20k per month. |

If only this funds will be used towards national development but unfortunately we have shameless unrepentant thieves as leaders who won't blink before they share the tax money and stack it in their already fat accounts. Greedy lots... |

Madmohamed1:Defending what? People like you are the reason why they claim the IQ of an African is low. This has always been the charges before the tax law. Stamp duty has always been N50 the rest is bank charges or are you so poor that you have never transfered upto N10k before? Anybody who has transferred N10k knows. This is not tax law. Get yourself some education and stop encouraging fake news and ignorance |

Truthissupreme:nigerian youths are the problem of this country, they just want everything without doing anything. To worship money in life is a disease. some people can die because of #20, imagine, someone faught POS operator cos she is charging 150 instead of #100. he was advised to go and use ATM, then he trekked to an fro to use ATM. is that life? tax is paid everywhere, rich people pays more. what we should be talking is how its being used for development. |
