I am planning something similar for my baby sis 13yes old, arts student. Someone who could teach or mentor her on all subjects. Five days a week, 5 hours a day 400k naira a month as salary and 60k monthly allowance for data and energy For us it is cheaper but for the tutor in Nigeria it is also a lot of money, sitting in the comfort of your room and making money, long term plan.
Please, i have sent you a PM.

I pay R300 daily for a 1hr maths lesson for my child. That’s almost 40k naira daily. I think this is dope and would definitely patronise them.
Happy new year sir, I'm also an online tutor, I teach Igbo ( for children and adults) and maths ( for early years)

It's a good thing. I also teach grade 10 and 11 Mathematics to students in Canada and I don't even use Zoom. I use the video feature of WhatsApp call. However, you need to be familiar with their syllabus because some areas are slightly different from our syllabus in Nigeria. But overall, it's all fun!
Where do you get clients?
Re: Living Abroad And Getting Lesson Teachers From Nigeria For Your Children by Tohsynetita1(m): 1:33pm On Jan 06

I disagree, because we are presently doing this, we've hired a teacher in Nigeria who does 4 hours a week for our daughter and we pay him 120k a month.
Can I get a vacancy also?
Re: Living Abroad And Getting Lesson Teachers From Nigeria For Your Children by Tohsynetita1(m): 1:36pm On Jan 06
TrainPark:
I agree with you a 100%...
The schools here are a lot more relaxed and do not inculcate the hardword that the reality of life requires to excel as a Nigerian.
Here, children don't have any homework until senior secondary school so kids go just dey play and chill.
My kids found every work super easy when we moved abroad and were literarily complaining that they are taught waht they already know.

But because they use age range to determine classes, the kids have to be in the class of their age bracket.
You might need the service of online teacher, please, I am interested

That's nice, I'm a teacher too and I want to get such offer, pls how do I go about it?
Adenex3051:
It's been going for a while now.
As we speak I have 2 students I teach online and its going on fine. Its just that you must know your onions and be ready to adapt because of differences in the curricula of the two countries involved. You may also need to spend money to get the necessary materials like the recommended texts and past questions.
