US oil companies are currently drilling in Iraq, also the US also have multiple military installations in the country, couple with the fact that US provides the highest military aid to the Iraqi government.. both in training and military hardware..and when it comes to economic aid the US is still the major benefactor of Iraq.

When the USA sanctions you, china comes and buys your oil at a discount. This is good because china has the economic might to disregard the sanctions, but it’s still bad business.

Read my post again, I said Venezuela wanted this deal before the kidnapping, Maduro would have approved this deal. It’s nothing personal, it’s just business. China will still get discounted oil, the USA had the greatest share of Venezuela oil before Trump’s sanctions and they were not running Venezuela then.

Putin is looking very weak and in the politics of international order the world only supports the strong. Little European nation has seized several Russia ships and nothing happened, you think Russia would bark if US sized it ships?
Putin made himself weak and a laughing stock when he refused to take drastic action against Ukraine and European nation, A world power should never seek to be right or morally just.
I support a Trump America any day any time over a Putin Russia, but I support a Putin Russia over a Democrat America.
