Nyesom Wike’s son is said to be preparing to contest for the House of Representatives at the age of 25, reportedly to replace Rt. Hon. Kingsley Chinda.

My one-kobo question is this: those jumping around, chanting “my leader, my leader”—how will they address the son as their representative, and when will they ever get the opportunity to reach such a position themselves?

Rivers people I say let me bring it to your notice.

Let us reason together as Rivers people.

Wike so this is the so-called “agreement” we are expected to accept in Rivers State:

The Governor must not nominate any Local Government Chairman.
He must sack his Chief of Staff. He must not run for a second term. He must not travel outside Rivers State. He must not defect to another political party. He must not nominate commissioners. He must reinstate all chiefs he previously removed. He must be restricted to not more than five advisers. He must support all members of the Rivers State House of Assembly for their 2nd and 3rd terms. He must stay away from the Governors’ Forum. He must not participate in the PDP Governors’ Forum.

Now pause.

At what exact point does an elected governor stop being a governor and become a glorified caretaker under political house arrest?
So I ask, plainly and without fear: Who exactly is governing Rivers State?

Because when you take away his power to appoint, take away his political structure, take away his right to aspire, take away his freedom to associate with fellow governors, take away even his freedom of movement, what is left?

You cannot strip a man of authority and still call him a leader. You cannot hijack the mandate of millions of voters and package it as an “agreement.” You cannot reduce an elected governor to a rubber stamp and expect the people to clap.

Rivers State is not anybody’s private sitting room. Our mandate is not transferable. Our democracy is not negotiable behind closed doors.

Let me ask you directly, Rivers people, If na you, you go gree?

Because today it is Governor Fubara. Tomorrow, it could be your vote, your voice, your future.

Truth no dey carry last forever, but one thing sure be say, truth must be spoken. Speak truth. Spread light.

Everything u listed is true, President Tinubu saved Fubara the last time, they haven’t forgotten or forgiven the Judas.

He thinks joining the APC will save him, same APC him & Pdp were shouting we no gree when the House of Assembly members cross carpeted last year early 2025, it is them he has gone to join?

Don't be sentimental. Let go of Wike showing Obi 🌶️. Fubara doesn't have what it takes to govern a state. There is no reason why Fubara should have problems with Wike. It is issue of poor man management. There is no governance in Rivers State.

Make we laugh, No registered so called the APC member in Rivers state, even the whole APC members in the state combined, has done more for President Tinubu in Rivers state than what Nyesom Wike did for Asiwaju.

The people supporting Fubara today, are all President Tinubu enemies, & also Wike’s former supporters turned enemies.

The same Hypocrites that hate Tinubu, & hate Wike for the sole reason of him delivering Rivers State to President Tinubu in the 2023 general election.
