As a child, I was trying to join wire plugged directly to socket together. The wire warned me by tickling me oo but poor me, I didnt listen until I got electrocuted.

Funny enough, I was standing on an iron bed, like that of hospital own. I remembered I shouted Yeeeeeeeeeh! I went blank. I dont know whether I was here or there again.

I died and came back that day cheesy cheesy....But today, I am alive.....Glory to Jesus

God saved me that day

The other experience was at the beach when the water removed all the sand under my feet. omo! my life flashed before my eyes. I dipped my whole hand down to earth to avoid being dragged away yet, the water still removed the sand. I tried all I could, for where! until one Angel recognized I was struggling and held my cloth. oh boy, no be joke Ooo

Samantha125:
Mine happened when I was ten years old, I fell sick and got admitted in hospital... My condition at the time was stable, but kept deteriorating over time, I had to be transferred to another hospital outside of my province... I stayed there for about two weeks before my first surgery and my parents would sometimes have to go back home as they had other priorities back home, my brother was the one who'd normally come and see me during afternoon visiting hours since he was schooling in the same province I was transferred to and his school wasn't that far from the hospital.

A day for my surgery came and things seemed promising after the procedure, even though I was still on oxygen, things seemed to be headed to the right direction... My parents were by my side for a couple of days and the doctor finally decided to get me off the oxygen since my condition had seemed to have improved... My parents then had to go back home in Limpopo and I remember within a couple of hours after their departure, I started experiencing this heavy feeling within my chest like it was compressed altogether, I complained to one nurse about how I was finding it difficult to breathe properly, she alerted the doctor and they put me back on oxygen while they monitored me through the night.

My doctor came back early in the morning to check up on me before he left and it wasn't until I had my breakfast that my condition turned for the worst, I started hyperventilating to a point that even the oxygen wasn't helping anymore, when I attempted to speak, my voice couldn't come out, I felt myself struggling to exhale by the minute... I was immediately attended to by this other doctor that I didn't recognise, he quickly prepared me and rushed me to the ICU together with the ward's senior nurse, I actually thought I was dying by that moment... After getting to the ICU, they tried getting hold of my parents, but could not reach them.

I was then placed on this other oxygen which had this weird smoky smell, I managed to whisper to the senior nurse that I was thirsty and needed some water to drink, she promised to get me the water, but I quickly passed out, when I woke up, I found myself on a life support system and I was being attended to by this other female doctor... My doctor then came and explained everything to me, apparently I had developed an infection after my first surgery, he also told me how they've been trying to get hold of my parents without any success since as a minor, they needed their consent to conduct another surgery on me as my condition was now critical and required them to conduct an urgent surgery ASAP... So in my parents absence, they took it upon themselves to go ahead with the procedure... Because it was either they wait and I don't make it or they conduct the surgery without my parents' permission and save my life.

I honestly didn't care, I was just relieved that I could breathe again even though I relied on a ventilator... I think my brother had an exam that day, so he also couldn't come and see me... Few hours later, two new doctors that I've never seen before came to fetch me from the ICU to the operating theater, apparently they were assigned to perform the surgery on me by another doctor, I was attended to by a variety of doctors that day with their different specialities.

The following day my brother went to the children's ward like he'd normally do during afternoon visiting hours, but upon getting there, I was nowhere to be found, he was then directed to the ICU and when he got there, I was asleep and the sight of me being surrounded by all those different hospital equipments terrified him... From what he told me, he only stayed for a few minutes and left... He got hold of our parents and instructed them to come to the hospital ASAP for I was dying and from that day on, he stopped coming to visit me... My family arrived in the middle of the night and at first they weren't allowed in since it was way past visiting hours, but they explained to the nurses and doctor how they're from another province and drove to the hospital as soon as they heard the news of my condition.

When they came in, I was awake, but still on a life support system and my wrists were restrained to the bed because the doctors feared that I might start overreacting as a child and harm myself in the process... My cousin only looked at me once and left, he waited outside... I could see in my parents and aunt's eyes that they were also terrified by my condition but trying to be strong... From that moment on, I had to be strong for myself and fight because I could see the hopelessness in everyone's eyes.

I stayed in the ICU for a couple of weeks until my condition became stable and I was moved back to the children's ward... I was taken off the ventilator machine and placed back on the medical oxygen, but I still couldn't speak or eat solid food, I'd use a note pad and a pencil to communicate with everyone... My brother then started visiting me again upon hearing that I was out of the ICU.

My mother would later open up to me about how at one point, she had started preparing herself for the worst, but here am I today healthy and happy...😃😃😃... I'll forever be grateful of those doctors who teamed up together to save my life...☺️☺️☺️

That's my survival story.
God used the doctors to save you.

Any human wey enter ICU come out alive is a real life testimony.
I helped a family of strangers push their dad from ward to ICU one midnight at a federal hospital.
Immediately we stepped into the ICU I swear to my creator we got froze for 3seconds, I and the guy whose dad we were carrying. Infact the man fell off from our hands because we froze.
Do you know why we froze for 3seconds?? The doctors immediately had to rush to tap us to regain consciousness.
Oh my goodness!!
Patients in ICU are miracles.
I saw people living in hell in ICU.
People praying for death at the ICU ,while Mr death is somewhere staring at them.
Ever since that night, I've been a humbled man.
Most people in ICU are either conscious or semi conscious or sedated

I mean that they can't pray

I almost died in the same swimming pool twice and once in a local deity river in another far State in Nigeria that I'm not even their tribe,,

Then I struggled with my last breath to swim forward inside the river, luckily I saw my friend's leg and I held it. I would have gone if I had swim with the last breath and couldn't get hold of anything,,

Since then, I stopped swimming - most especially in local rivers!!

It was very deadly and scary,,

The day I had a terrible accident that our car swerved off road hitting a pole. I sat down at the front sit omoh that was the first day I will see how airbag comes our during accident. The car was about burning when some pple rushed there to help us forcefully opened the door. Thank God we came out unhurt. That was the last time I had one on one contact with death but thankfully I escaped it. Till today I still dey fear to sit at the front with driver.

My experience was the Ketu/Mile 12 Hausa vs Yoruba clash. My eyes saw what a child suppose not to see. I saw people slaughtering other people. Burning of human being. One of them even hold the head of the person he slaughter and our car was passing the scene when all the chaos was unfolding. I can never forget this incident

April 8th 2025 precisely. I was on my way from Lagos to ogbomoso and the driver was on top speed. I was sitting at the front sit in between the driver and an alfa.

Suddenly the vehicle tyre from behind bursted. I saw death in the eyes as the vehicle fell and flipped while tumbling down a hillside. I was just saying "I can't die now" repeatedly as the car was summersaulting down the hill until it came to stop after flips.

Luckily, I was the only person in the vehicle without injuries as the driver died few minutes after the car paused. Two other persons died including an immigration officer. The other occupants had various degrees of severe injuries. Before rescue came, I was the one pulling out people stuck in the car.

When people came there everyone was like "egbon, were you also on this vehicle?"

E be God, I was just struggling back and forth with eyes closed, damn! It was chaotic. Imagine coming out of this alive and scratch free 🤔

Thank God for life

Mine was trying to replace the switch of my room, this happen about 7days ago, i forgot to replace it when i didnt have light, when they brought i remembered i needed it. So i had the new switch already, while trying to cut the wire to fix it to the tiny hole of the switch i heard BOOM, then it burn my pliers, it was dark on the iron side of the plier. Instead of stopping i still went ahead, this next one, i dont know how my bare hand touch the iron side of the plier while trying to cut through the wire to get a new edge i will fix inside the switch. Omo i froze for some time electrocuted, i then shouted JESUS, the electric power fling me to one side, i hit my shin. Had a cut on my left index finger, dont know how i got that also. My shin got swollen had to massage it back. When i regain myself, i started thinking that this is how i for just die like this. This happened on the 2nd January 2026.
On the first image, the spark break parts of the plier creating a hole in it.
Before i even began, i had to change over to off the light in my room. Imagine if the light was normal without the change over, i could have been a gunner by now.
Thank God for life.

Re: Have You Ever Fought For Your Life? by Hahjascho(m):
Okay,

I once tried to siphon petrol fuel from a Yellow keg into the generator by covering the keg mouth (hose inside) and blowing a strong breeze…such that the gas pressure would force the fuel into the tiny hose. This is a common thing people sometimes do if they don’t want to swallow fuel.

Lo and behold, the gas vapor forced its way out and entered my nose…up to my brain.
Omoh! I first sit down for floor…I could feel my head became so light like gum as I struggled to gain consciousness. This happened for some minutes but it was like hours. I can never forget.

It was after a while I regained consciousness.

Petrol gas is dangerous!

Similar experience with appendicectomy procedure but never had any "scary" moment at any point. I slowly drifted off due to the anesthesia and consciously saw myself leave my body and that was it. I couldn't remember anything until I got back but was mumbling rubbish, slept off again then started to gradually proceed back to full consciousness recognizing people around me and having normal conversation.
Mine was very dramatic, I saw myself being worked upon by the doctors while I stood behind them helplessly watching the procedure. Then later found myself in a huge sci-fi like city where everyone seem to have been floating rather than actually walking. And something whispered into my ears that this is what happens when people die. Bright lights on all corners of the city, a lot of things that didn't make sense

I remember in 2018 while traveling to PH in a sienna for a friend's wedding. We got to Delta and hit a very narrow road where vehicles almost face each other. Suddenly, our vehicle tried to overtake a trailer moving ahead of us with a full speed, unknown to him there was another fast moving trailer approaching.
Jesus! We had already left our lane to the lane of the incoming fast moving trailer, as the driver was trying to sway back to our lane with higher speed with gear change, the vehicle refused to change gear o and the trailer on our lane didn't even give a damn. He didn't slow down for us.

Ha! I thought I would die that day. The incoming vehicle was blasting the horn seriously. The seven of us in the car had stood up and frozen up waiting to hear a bang. Luckily, our car swerved by divine intervention.

The experience is still very fresh in my head
