A lot of people didn't watch the video and are slurping the reportage of the media who are hellbent on pushing a narrative.

I stopped depending on mainstream media years ago. I go look for videos directly from the source (not edited ones to push a narrative) or read actual social media posts by the persons of interest. Or hard evidence.

Anything like "our sources say" is a lie. Pete Hegseth posted the video on X yesterday morning and I watched it to come to my conclusion yet the trend on X was an innocent driver fleeing from the scene was shot dead by ICE.

Just 2 days ago Most democrats were saying Ashli Babbit who was shot on Jan 6 deserved to die for being where she shouldn't despite being unarmed but the same people 24hrs later are saying a woman who was where ICE was doing their job, obstructing them and them aiming a car(weapon) at an officer is guilty

2 women similar situation (the yesterday lady even worse in my view) but one is pronounced guilty one is innocent

The unfortunate thing about the lady killed by the ICE agent is she wasn't a protestor. She was just at the wrong place at the wrong time and they mistook her for a protestor. She panicked and tried to flee, but was interpreted as putting the officers life in danger.

I am against people protesting against ICE and disrupting their work. It's obvious this lady was not doing that but was just on that street unfortunately.

Those who were there in 2023 election all swore Obi would win. I told them the way it would go. Because you are there you have your biases which influences the way you see things. I don't. I think she was trying to flee cause of fear from the way I saw it though. Though liberals can be dramatic this was a death that could have been avoided from the beginning. The officer could have also shot in the air or the windscreen but not aim at the driver's seat though he'll say he did it in self defense but I don't believe the woman was trying to kill him.

This is why i said that US law enforcement officers are prone to escalating situations. Many of the situations that end up with them gunning down people do not really need to end that way, but it looks like they approach situations hoping that you try them, which means any mistake on your part is interpreted as you doing just that.

If you're not a criminal why would you panic from seeing law enforcement? I see no reason you'd be running from police or any other law enforcement agency if you're not a criminal.

When you considered the target on the back of officers and this particular officer has been hit before in the line of duty.

Officers face horrific things daily to keep us safe, they are one blink of an eye from being killed every day.

The best we can do is to make their job easier and not make it harder
