If the threats by Rivers Assembly lawmakers to impeach Fubara is not curtailed which might lead to public unrest in Rivers State, I think President Tinubu might likely suspend the governor, the house of assembly and this time around the Minister of FCT(Nyesom Wike). A new military administrator will be appointed to oversee the affairs of the state. How governorship and presidential election will be conducted in Rivers State is what I don't know.

Far from it rather Wike and his goons will be cooling off with EFCC

The fact is that Tinubu and Wike will part ways sooner or later. Tinubu is to make that call but it will be definitely be a hard call

Aligning with Wike will mean lots of disgruntled elements in APC national leadership and loyalty concerns with APC governors. The Rivers people might fight back at the poll and if Fubara is not fully on the side of the president, 2023 type of rigging might not be possible. Besides, Rivers is not as critical as it was in 2023 because all other SS states are in the bag for APC.

Aligning with Fubara will mean that Tinubu risks leaking of 2023 rigging secrets among other prior acts between Tinubu and Wike. The extent the damage will cause to Tinubu’s 2027 mandate is yet to be determined but not expected to have significant impact as Wike has grown national apathy for himself. Infact, Tinubu might endear genuine voters if he openly goes after Wike and he has the apparatus of the state to shut him up or make him politically irrelevant

At the end irrespective of what Tinubu decides in this case, Wike will fight Tinubu and APC leadership like he has always done his entire life…… the question is When?

As long as oil installations are not touched.. Tinubu wouldn’t flinch. He is more concerned about Nigeria Revenue generation. Any threat of some sort to that then he will act again.

I suggested Tinubu and APC will weak Wike by negotiate with Rivers house of assembly members . Only the members are the political strength Wike has in Rivers state.

This is a welcome development

No it was easier for Tinubu to declare state of emergency then because d governor was not in APC. Tinubu focus is 2027 election. He will tread carefully now.

State of emergency can never possible again. APC will always support Fubara here. It's emperor Wike that will be disgrace
