The name of this poem should be the arrogant victor Osimhen .

Useless and needless writeup.

I doubt if he will change. Once the ego gets to the head, it's hard to let go.

Osimhen did wrong but this writing has no meaning at all. Junk

Useless and needless writeup.
The most annoying thing is that most of these writers and relentless critics are weaklings who can't handle a quarter of what they dish out.

The criticism of Osimhen is justified but it's over. Osimhen and Lookman already moved on from the issue as footballers but lowlifes won't let it go. Let our boys focus on their mission in Morocco.

Osimhen is not arrogant
he is just driven by the passion to win.
if Lookman had scored that goal, he wont have complain.
but missing it and repeating it more than once got him angry.
Osimhen is number 9 and his duty is to score goals
so give him the ball if you you cant score from the position u are.
thats not arrogancy

This article is so telling. Osinmhen really need to work on his emotions
The person who wrote this is not fit to dwell in civilized society. Never.

For the mere fact that he went so person as to describe the boy as chicken, and even to take sides claim Mola is more decorated and plays in a better team, which is not even true, it shows he has a personal alliance which is primitive.

All of this coming just a day to a big match, meaning you simply want to sow further discord in the camp.

Na, shame on him and everyone who thinks like him.

This is malicious right-up. Oga columnist, if he didn't say he sold Sachet water and had all those struggles grow, would you have a title for your write-up? Shaming people with their humble beginning is pride and based. Children who were born into homes with wealth are just privileged, they didn't chose where they will be born into; they could also could have been born in homes with little or no wealth. Even if he has anger issues, which I think it's just an usual passion to get best results always, every human being is working on one habit or another he/she doesn't like and working to improve on.

People with little or no achievement to show for their wasted lives will always have the perfect grammar to drag down anyone that is rising from nobody to somebody in life.

"He sells pure water on the streets ". ...... Story story.
Re: Osimhen: The Arrogance Of A Ghetto Hero By Tunde Odesola by Uguruzik(m): 9:28am On Jan 09
The best thing here is that Osimen rose from a nobody to an international celebrity who's name has cannot be erased from the history of football forever, so poverty could not stop him
But tha Shameful thing about the writer of this article is that his wealth couldn't announce he's good for nothing nobody knows his name, he an inconsequential element who can't influence anything

The message has been passed and I hope the party involved learn the lesson.

Leave our golden boy alone, this long epistle because of a little drama on the pitch , he’s just a hungry striker who want to do more for his country

Nobody is perfect

There is no excuse whatsoever for berating his team mate in public especially when we were already leading by a clear goals difference

He is a selfish striker, not everyone would have tolerated that rubbish he tried on the pitch...did he think he was talking to his houseboy?

This is Gutter reportage.

How this made it into a daily national newspaper is quite baffling.
Sorry about that.
It should have made it into a village newspaper.

Written by Tunde Odesola. No surprise there grin

I was wondering how long before our sophisticated brother's introduce their tribal sentiment in this Osimehin issue.Didn't take long apparently. How predictable grin.

A few things are certain in life, Day and Night, Life and Death, and a group from a certain part of Nigeria ALWAYS being tribalists. Always.
But when the same punch writes something about tinubu una go hail them... so cos he's yoruba he can wrote again? There's no tribe in nigeria that like the yorubas the don't care where u come from they will talk. The greatest critics of this regime are the yorubas, so why shouldn't the punch write cos he's yoruba. Oshimen is from my state, he messed up simple. Give journalist a lil chance they will milk it. Don't drive tribe into this. He's doing his job. When punch was insulting buhari and tinubu it was not from a region

With the three goals he has now, the highest goal scorer in the competition is the aim that is driving his actions and inactions.

Nothing but the truth.

E no go better for who wrote this trash
Imagine the time wasted and all the efforts used in trying to bring someone else down just simply because he rose from grass to grace and became bigger than everyone in the generation of this writer.
Re: Osimhen: The Arrogance Of A Ghetto Hero By Tunde Odesola by DeGLORIOUS: 9:38am On Jan 09
The writer of this article really want to punch Osimhen. Being successful in Nigeria is like aspiring for a political post. Fault finders are much. You have to dodge and past. Osimhen has his own issues but we don't need this article at this moment. This is emotional assassination which is detrimental to our team's success. This article is very unfortunate. Puch, una no mean well for some us. Una wan kill our joy.
Re: Osimhen: The Arrogance Of A Ghetto Hero By Tunde Odesola by Laple0541(m): 9:39am On Jan 09
Let’s wait till after Nigeria’s fate in the competition before we talk sense into his head. His bad attitude caused us the World Cup’s slot. He needs to take it easy.

My own is with the " no try am again" rant, what would have happened if he tried it again.

Most people supporting this nonsense would not take such from a colleague in the office.

But of course, hypocrisy and sentiments is our Uber driver in this part of the world

People don't understand passion on the field of play, Osimhen is passionate about football, his attitude off the pitch is entirely different, every footballer knows there are different personalities on the field, some are loud and some are reserved, some are selfish and some are free with the ball, some are very skillful like magicians and others are average.
Re: Osimhen: The Arrogance Of A Ghetto Hero By Tunde Odesola by Northsouth(m): 9:47am On Jan 09
I don't even want to read the writeup
Because the writer may even overtalk and overdo
But I like the headline

Osimhen no know anything about life. He say him suffer but he no humble himself.
He must be crazy

He no sabi anything.

He better just thank God for prosperity and stop irrelevant arrogancy.

Even me wey be him fan self and many other of him fans know say he overdo annoyance
