manuelkel:Mr death is headquartered in all Nigerian ICUs. People die in dozens there every nite. It was at an ICU in one hospital in the eastern part of Nigeria that I realised that Mr Death is a being. |

illicit:It's not about praying, it's about the endless pains. I saw a woman burnt like a roasted goat yet she was still alive screaming with her all body white pale due to the fire. Goodness sake! |

eagleonearth:I say ehnn, ever since that experience I've been a humbled man. People are going through endless pains there, pains that could end by only praying for death yet they can't die. One was significantly confessing, shouting and pleading with death to come to her rescue not even God anymore. She was burnt like a roasted barbecue yet she was still alive. Could you imagine the pains of being burnt all over from hair to toe? Yet death was far.....omor thank God for good health oo. |

manuelkel:Are you sure you were not in the emergency ward? You see, patients in ICU are moved from emergency ward. Its usually in Emergency wards or outpatient departments that you find delirious and screaming people People in ICU are sedated and attached to tubes Some even have tubes in their mouth or nose or both Yeah in some cases, case is different so screaming can happen afterall na hospital, patient is in pain But in ICU, they are under constant surveillance, surrounded by medics and machines, yeah uou might see burns but screaming, how They are mostly sedated, once again If that burnt woman was in ICU, the medics will do everything to stabilise her immediately she was brought in ICU is not labour ward too, or psychiatrist ward nor a theatre Its mostly quiet and u can hear machines |

God saved you from going through the most traumatic experience no child should ever go through... Because even after I got discharged from the hospital, the road to my full recovery was still a very long one. I had to be reintroduced into the society in a wheelchair and I hated it, my parents were also sceptical about enrolling me back to school out of fear that I might get mistreated by the teachers and bullied by the learners... They were already making arrangements to take me to a special school in the time being, but my school's principal assured them that they'll do some adjustments around the school to cater for all my needs and bring me some activities to do at home whenever I wasn't feeling too well to come to school... The teachers were very welcoming and nice while the learners were curious because last time they saw me I looked fine, but they were respectful and never bullied me. It took many more checkups and physiotherapy to get me back on my feet. Astromania: |

pansophist:My boss told me to deliver a message to one of our senators back then several years ago I was young then, probably finishing my secondary school So I knock at the gate, no response but I discover the gate was not close properly I open the gate , get inside and was moving close to the apartment when suddenly two Bull dogs started running towards me I froze for seconds, then scream with all my voice for the people inside the house to hear, then suddenly the two bull dogs stopped Meanwhile all this incident happens at mid-day, then the errant boy of the senator came out and attend to me. |

illicit:Yes it was ICU, Accident and Emergency is different...the patience there had tubes and pipes. There was a kid, about 1 year old in an incubator with tubes and pipes, they were all sedated but you could hear their heartbeat praying for mercy with machines all wired to their bodies...... only authorized individuals were allowed to go in but we did because it was an emergency, we also went through medical cleansing and had to put on medical regalias before going in. It was not A&E but ICU, I grew up in a federal medical center Ebonyi state so I know every blocks because I also worked as a laundry guy before my high institution days. |

I was asthmatic and entered crisis, that is the day I understood that breathing is hardwork. I will exhale and it will look as if no air again is available for inhalation. My ribs were paining me. I tried not to give up until breathing got better. I can't even say how I got out of that crisis. I was injected countless times and my medicine bag was too big that I got tired of feeding on medicine. I was miraculously healed eventually by God alone. |

Astromania:we are similar oo. That's how my parents took me to a church function when I was about 8yrs. I was busy playing with other children outside because we found the preaching boring or stuff like that. After the event, my parents said I should start confessing that I have been healed of asthma(bronchitis), that my case was called out via word of knowledge/prophecy by the guest preacher. I refuted what my parents were saying and told them that I still had difficulty breathing and I can't lie that I have been healed when I'm not. long story cut short, that sickness disappeared in a very mysterious way from that day. I threw away my medicine bag and stopped having crisis and incessant injection routine. God is powerful indeed. |
