All these Yoruba Bloggers
Should stop all these NONESENSE undecided undecided undecided

So if me and my guy get small confrontation for field that means I'm EVIL??

Guys that will quarrel and reunite within 10 mins. That is how guys are.

Did Oshimen beat or slap anybody?
Just normal guy to guy confrontation

I remember fighting with my flatmate and that same evening we go out to drink and chill.

Football is testosterone and adrenaline so clashes are inevitable.
As Men. We understand this fully

It is the sissy and gossiping men that are still talking about this Oshimen matter.

Real men understand what went down
And it's just normal guy to guy antics.

Sissy boys and effeminate men will spin this story out of proportion just to trend.
Oga,you can fight with your flatmate in your room nobody cares..
That you don't see anything wrong with what went down tells a serious story about your person and mindset.
You are no room model, figuratively and factually and so nobody expects any better from you, thankfully.

All this long write-up for what exactly; Osimhen?
Are you helping the situation or you are trying to destroy a star athlete?
Osimhen is doing all his own destruction by himself,he doesn't need anybody to do that.

He should go and ask Balloteli how far it ended for him.

A world class striker at his prime and the best he could do is the Turkish League and him never want ask himself questions.

Osimhen is not the first to blow from ghetto

This is arrogance must stop, see as ndidi countless time have tried to manage his stupidity in public

That's a senior man for you, ndidi too don first suffer, lookman and the rest don't beg him for food so why does he think he is anything special

Poverty is supposed to humble a man that stumbles into wealth
Maybe Nigeria deserves a PORTABLE in every field of life. Osinhen is the Portable of Nigerian football, Primate Ayodele is the Portable of Nigerian fake Christendum Association while Wike is the Portable of Nigerian politics.

The lesson learnt here is that before you open up to people, keep this in mind. Someday, someone may use your story against you under the guise of “correcting” you, despite being no better themselves.

Yes Osimhen could have been less harsh on Lookman.

But I didn't mind what he said about Finidi, who was woeful as a coach
How were you and Osimhen sure that Finidi said what he was accused of?

Even if Finidi said it,do you think that his outburst looks well on him as a professional?

Cawardice article.
He should also go and write about Balatole, and other footballer who are more rough than Oshimen.

Imagine rubbish a trained journalist and newspaper house will write because of Osimeh. That guy loves Nigeria more than the writer. If that guy withdraw his services now, shame will become our Nigeria football. God and his efforts made him, Nigeria didn't contributed nothing to him. Players that are even Playing without allowances until they have to voiced out. Focus on your corrupt NFF and Nigeria government and let Osimeh alone. We need them, they don't need us as Nigeria failed them before, despite that, they gave all to Nigeria
God and his efforts made him, Nigeria didn't contribute nothing to him?

Una just dey open mouth dey talk.

There are players in Nigeria today and in the past more talented than Osimhen who never got the help and exposure Nigeria afforded Osimhen.

Without the U17 World Cup that Osimhen was privileged to play in where them for see am?

Nonsense write up. Must everything be sensationalised? It was just a reaction at the spur of the moment. I am sure the parties involved have long reconciled and put the events behind them.
It was not just a reaction on the spur of the moment.

It's a consistent pattern of behaviour which should not be encouraged and fostered.

Nobody is bigger than the National team.

Nigeria has been winning titles before Osimhen was born and will still be winning titles long after he's gone.

Respect is a valuable coin to be traded in.

Nobody is seeing the low self esteem and insecurity of Lookman that is fueling this drama. Are Nigerians this base in critical thinking?

This is a very useless write-up. As always, you know by who. People who do not understand football dynamics open their gutter of a mouth to spill rubbish.
You see passion on the pitch, you call it arrogance. Why did Sadio Mane leave Liverpool? Mo Sallah wanted to win awards by all means thereby putting his ambition above the team, Mane will be free and he will refuse to pass the ball. He had enough and left. Osimhen is a selfless player, many times passing the ball to a player with a higher probability of scoring even when he has a chance.
His teammates had only job to do, pass the ball, forget personal ambition but lookman was being greedy. This behavior by lookman and the other guys will be the undoing of the SE.
Every star player deserves his flowers, osimhen is the best Nigeria has now and should be respected. His passion on the pitch is unmatched...We need him even if we admit it or not.

Na this kind people wey write this kind rubbish dey drag their fellow man to police station because of debt of less than 200k. Them go first go the person house go display with threats upon threats.

Moral of the story: most people are hypocrites when it comes to managing spontaneous reactions. U will never know how u will react ur in the same situation.

Very useless article

I doubt that you watched the match. Even I and the guys who were watching were screaming at the top of our voices for those passes to be made. Lookman, akor and Onyedika were very wrong for withholding passes to osimhen. Lookman even said Osimhen had scored two goals, and so what? What if we were losing? Will all of you be castigating Osimhen? You will justify his anger and blame lookman.
Your comment exposes your ignorance on football dynamics.
Re: Osimhen: The Arrogance Of A Ghetto Hero By Tunde Odesola by L0wk3y(m): 11:40am On Jan 09
As a Nigerian i do not support what Osimhen did, but na men things. We go para for each other one minute, we go reconcile the next minute. Air out grieviances no carry person for mind.
But you see this narrative people here are trying to bring saying that Osimhen is an average player abeg stop it, people will come after him and do better for sure but right now Osimhen currently represents the ceiling for Nigerian players. It'll be hard to find a metric/stat in which he doesn't lead everyone else.

How this made it into a daily national newspaper is quite baffling.
Check the name of who wrote it.

Tunde Odesola is a riff raff journalist. You have no business with the past or days of little beginnings of others.

I know some idioots here will be blaming Osimhen but when they failed to qualify for the world cup, you were blaming the whole squad, anybody that understands soccer will understand why olOsimhen is angry, football should be based on team work and not otherwise. Osimhen has never been a selfish player and that was what he was trying to correct, though he could have managed the issue better.

Not only on Osimhen but
On Nigerians their psychology and intelligence or knowledge of football

Many young people cannot think or reason for themselves
I sat down observed the whole Finidi saga and felt sad the way he was treated
The NFF Did Finidi dirty. I so much respect the dignity and maturity he showed

Many young people don't know he was the first Nigerian to win the Champions League along 2ith Kanu who was his team mate in 1995

He was achieved a lot the club level and is a better qualified coach than the person there now but the NFFnever provided him a contract or resources after the Super Eagles had a bad start they brought h8m in and set him up for failure
