1. How many Gods died on the cross?
If Jesus is fully God and fully man, and is one with God the Father (John 10:30: "I and the Father are one"wink, then did God the Father also die on the cross? Or was it only one person of the Godhead who died?

2. If Jesus said, "I can do nothing on my own, but only what I see the Father doing" (John 5:19), and "the Son can do nothing by himself" (John 5:30), then for Jesus to have died, did God the Father die first or simultaneously?
How can the Son die if the Father, who is one with the Son, remains alive?

3. Jesus prayed on the cross, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46), implying a separation from the Father. If Jesus and the Father are one, how can there be a forsaking within the Godhead?
Does this mean the unity of God was broken at the cross?

4. If Jesus is God incarnate, and God is immortal and cannot die (1 Timothy 6:16: "who alone has immortality"wink, how can Jesus truly die?
Was it only the human nature that died, and if so, can we say Jesus truly died as a person?

5. If God the Father did not die, and only Jesus’s human nature died, then was the death on the cross a partial death?
Can a partial death accomplish the full redemption of humanity?

6. If Jesus is one with the Father and the Spirit (John 14:10-11), did the entire Trinity experience death on the cross, or only the Son?

How can the doctrine of the Trinity reconcile the death of one person with the eternal life of the Godhead?

You forgot to add one person. Michael The Archangel.

According to MaxInDHouse organisation, Jesus was actually Michael the archangel.

So Michael the archangel also died. grin

Please add that to your list.

First, I need to make it clear that religious -- and this applies as far as all religions are concerned -- doctrines fall absolutely flat when put up against what is in fact written in the books that make up the collection that is the Bible. 🥱🥱🥱

As what is Jesus Christ of Israel is written to have said in the book,he never said anything about being fully God and/or fully man. The mere idea assumes it is possible to quantify one's humanity or godhood. It is based on a faulty idea held mostly around those who are in religious circles.

An animal is an animal yet they have about 99% of the DNA that humans have. By that, are human not animals then, yet humans are seen as a specie different from other animals. 🥱🥱🥱

Anyways, Jesus Christ of Israel rather expounded on the relationship and connection He had to the father through various teachings
1. He and his Father are one --- also indicates that they are of one accord --- and His Father is greater than He
2. He is the Truth and Eternal life of His Father implies He is an eternal being same as His Father and also the Word of His Father
3. He came down from Heaven to earth and would go back to reclaim His place by His Father's right hand suggests that He is an entity separate yet joined to the Father...

None of these suggests that when Jesus Christ of Israel experienced human death on the cross, His Father in Heaven also experienced human death. None of what Jesus Christ of Israel said suggests that when He was stoned on earth, that His Father also received an earthly stone to the head (or whatever part was stone) in heaven. 🥱🥱🥱

The attempt made in the video is tangled up in so much religious nonsense that I doesn't do a good enough job of explaining what Jesus Christ of Israel Himself clarified in the Gospels.

As is written in Scripture, Jesus Christ is God, and God(the Father) is God, but God(the Father) is not Jesus Christ.

In Scripture, beginning in the Old Testament, we learn the following of YHWH, God of Israel :
▪︎ YHWH, God of Israel, is the God of Wrath
▪︎ YHWH, God of Israel, is God of Laws
▪︎ YHWH, God of Israel, is Good/Righteous
▪︎ YHWH, God of Israel, is Faithful
▪︎ YHWH, God of Israel, is Love
▪︎ YHWH, God of Israel, is True (Word)
▪︎ YHWH, God of Israel, is Life
▪︎ All Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding are of YHWH, God of Israel,
.....
And of Jesus Christ of Israel, we are informed by Him, particularly in John 14 vs 6, that He is
▪︎ YHWH's Truth (Word)
▪︎ YHWH's Life
▪︎ YHWH's Law (one of many) aka The Way
.....
Now, as for the Spirit of Truth whom Jesus Christ of Israel said is the Holy Spirit, well, He is, as Jesus Christ of Israel made clear, subject to Jesus Christ of Israel
▪︎ YHWH's Truth(Word) in the person of Jesus Christ of Israel

So as indicated, Jesus Christ of Israel is born from some of the very same essences that are God(Father, YHWH, God of Israel) - they are both in synch as far as that which they share. And this explains much of what Jesus Christ of Israel said of His relationship to the Father(YHWH, God of Israel)
■ The Father is greater than He, Jesus Christ of Israel,
■ He, Jesus Christ of Israel, is in the Father, and the Father is in Him(Jesus Christ of Israel),
■ All that Jesus Christ of Israel gives to you, His follower, is that which the Father gives Him,
■ He, Jesus Christ of Israel, does only that which His Father bids Him do,
■ He, Jesus Christ of Israel, cannot do anything apart from the Father,
■ He, Jesus Christ of Israel, said, “My Father never stops working, and so I work too.”
■ He, Jesus Christ of Israel, also said, “I assure you that the Son can do nothing alone. He does only what he sees his Father doing. The Son does the same things that the Father does. The Father loves the Son and shows him everything he does."
....etc.

So, Jesus Christ of Israel is God. However, since Jesus Christ of Israel doesn't possess all of the essences of YHWH, God of Israel, inside of himself, it means that YHWH, God of Israel, isn't Jesus Christ of Israel. And Jesus Christ of Israel isn't YHWH, God of Israel undecided
Re: How Many Gods Died? by Felimax(m): 10:03pm On Jan 09
Quite a long childish question!
Every man is made up of three categories.
Body
Soul
Spirit

Jesus said do not be afraid of the one who can destroy only the body but be afraid of the one who can destroy but body and soul in hell.

Do a search on the nature of God!
You cannot use human tendencies to equate God's nature or formation.

How is Jesus joined to the father yet separate from him?

Jesus always does what he sees his father doing! How didn't he die when he saw the father dying?

1. By Joined, you mean the partnership that exists between the YHWH, God and King of Israel, and Jesus Christ, the King in the Kingdom of God?🥱🥱

2. The works of His Father, YHWH, God and King of Israel, are good... works in compliance with the Law of Moses, which His Father established the nation of Israel upon. What His Father did in His Nation, Israel— good works— are what Jesus Christ is continuing to do even in the Kingdom of God over which He is King(what He said it means to believe in Him). 🥱🥱

The verses in that book are not meant to be used in isolation from all of the others, as is typical among the religious.
...
16 Jesus was doing all this on the Sabbath day. So these Jews began trying to make him stop.
17 But he said to them, “My Father never stops working, and so I work too.”
18 This made them even more determined to kill him. They thought it was bad enough that he was breaking the law about the Sabbath day. And now he was saying that God is his Father, making himself equal with God! - John 5 vs 17
30I can do nothing alone. I judge only the way I am told. And my judgment is right, because I am not trying to please myself. I want only to please the one who sent me. - John 5 vs 30
....
25 Jesus answered, “I told you already, but you did not believe. I do miracles in my Father’s name. These miracles show who I am.
26 But you do not believe, because you are not my sheep.
27 My sheep listen to my voice. I know them, and they follow me.
28 I give my sheep eternal life. They will never die, and no one can take them out of my hand.
29 My Father is the one who gave them to me, and he is greater than all.[c] No one can steal my sheep out of his hand.
30 The Father and I are one.” - John 10 vs 25-30
....
37 If I don’t do what my Father does, then don’t believe what I say.
38 But if I do what my Father does, you should believe in what I do. You might not believe in me, but you should believe in the things I do. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father. - John 10 vs 37 - 38

Jesus Christ of Israel said He is the Way(athe Law), the Truth and the Life(eternal). Basically , He is King over the Kingdom of God that was to come at that the time of His death. What aspect of Him stopped working when He died the human death? 🥱🥱🥱

Why would His Eternal father whom we have established is not Jesus Christ of Israel stop working because Jesus Christ of Israel, an eternal being experienced the human death? 🥱🥱

Why do you refuse to think outside of the box that is religion to see that just like what is written in any other book out there, that book of books is also not in fact bound by your religious delusions? 🥱🥱

1. That is an absolute falsehood! None of the prophets in Scripture, including Moses, proclaimed themselves as the way to eternal Life. Only Jesus Christ of Israel is written to have ever done that in Israelite text and this was one of the reasons the religious leaders believed he had to die. 🥱🥱🥱

I never used the word "proclaimed". As usual, you read it into it. But People of Moses didn't follow Jesus, they followed Moses as a messenger of God!

1. Moses' mission, exactly as it is written in his books was to deliver the Constitutional Law of YHWH -- God of Israel -- by which His Nation of Israel was created of the people of Israel in the Land of Canaan to them, the people He chose and named. That Law was a contract made by YHWH establishing them as His people and the land as an inheritance to them. 🥱🥱🥱

2. Noah entered the arc with His family .. his wife and sons(in including their wives). They did so, not because they followed Noah but because he was their father. That is what the story states. 🥱🥱🥱

* that His Father authored death and cursed all human with a curse to exit this life by way of the grave, and so He, Jesus Christ of Israel took to dying to exit this temporary human contract that began at his birth ...

Jesus Christ of Israel did not lie since all He did was according to the work previously done by His own Father. He even broke natural laws because His Father made miracles possible. That is what is written in that book for all to read. 🥱🥱🥱

2. Wrong! The book instead presents Noah as a man who was able to save his wife and children from drowning. Anything apart of that is imagined and not of that book. 🥱🥱

3. Why did he need to refer to the birth system when he came into the human dimension through the birth system? 😩😩

Jesus did upheld the commandments though!

Noah was a righteous man just as Job! They were blameless according to the Bible!

Genesis 6:8-9 (NIV):
"But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God."

You are the one conjuring things up and avoiding the question!

So Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For WHATEVER the Father does, the Son also does.

1. Jesus Christ of Israel was subject to His Father's Law but he was not a soldier. He came around 700 years after the Israelites had lost their power to rule over themselves as a nation. 🥱🥱

2. You keep about the bush. What has Noah's status as a righteous man to do with anything when nothing in the entire book suggests that this righteousness can be imparted on others even those in ones immediate family? 🥱

3. I think you are just too used to arguing yourself into a hole that you fail to see here that you are meaninglessly sheeting all over the place now. 🥱🥱

He followed the law and preached that people obey them. When the rich ruler came to ask Jesus about eternal life, what was the first thing Jesus told him? Obey the commandments! Not believe that Jesus will or die or that Jesus is God!

2. You keep about the bush. What has Noah's status as a righteous man to do with anything when nothing in the entire book suggests that this righteousness can be imparted on others even those in ones immediate family? 🥱
It is that righteousness that saved them from peril. Noah's family were saved because they obeyed Noah who obeyed God! Moses's people too were saved from peril because they did the same!

3. I think you are just too used to arguing yourself into a hole that you fail to see here that you are meaninglessly sheeting all over the place now. 🥱🥱
You are used to peddling falsehood even when the truth is clear! Why is it so difficult for you to answer a simple question? What does "WHATEVER" in the sentence "For WHATEVER the Father does, the Son also does."?
