Kano Defection: I Believe In Action, Not Too Much Talk – Gov Yusuf by Putindbutt(op): 4:00pm On Jan 10

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State who is believed to be planning to defect to the All Progressives Congress, APC, on January 12, has for the first time since the controversy erupted made some comments on the matter.

The Governor seen in a viral video talking to a group said that,

” I have never commented on the discussions that follow the issues at stake, because I don’t believes in talking too much.”

DAILY POST is unable to confirm the date and time of the comment, but it generally referred to the current controversy over his planned defection.

He added that, “What started small has been magnified as said by a Hausa Singer, Karamar Magana Tazama Babba. As everyone knows, I don’t believe in talking too much.

“I’m always an action man; the actions that will help my people as seen by everyone, that is what I believed in, not too much talk,” he said.

Kano was recently agog with news of the Governor’s planned move to the APC.
While a faction in the state believe his decision was coming at the right time as it will help the state to align with the centre, others in the New Nigeria’s People’s Party, NNPP, see his decision as nothing but a betrayal of trust given to him by the leader of the Kwankwasiyya group, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Kano is for Kwankwaso, and Abba barely stands a chance against him. Kwankwaso has been very restrained with his response to Abba's defection because of their relationship. if it were to be another person Kwankwaso would have engaged him in a manner that even Ganduje would consider himself lucky.

Don't let anyone fool you. They are simply defecting to collect the 250 billion largesse and to neutralize their opponent in the APC whom have now all been asked to step down to secure one man's own ambitions. Many will work against him in the presidential elections.

Tinubu just want the majority and he wins, it doesn't even matter if he loses Lagos state over again.
Majority carries the vote, more governors, more votes, if you want to work against him in APC, just pray he doesn't win again, that person knows they are gonna chaes him out of governor's seat

Kwankwaso brought this upon himself. If he had agreed to Tinubu's terms, he would've led Gov. Abba into APC and remained the respected Godfather. Imagine demanding to replace the Vice President in 2027. That demand was too audacious and bold
