Bills she pay are for things she use daily, you don't pay bills in Nigeria for things you use and even things you don't use?

You are earning almost same amount a person will earn for similar job in Nigeria based on exchange rate calculation. And in Nigeria your earnings might not be taxed but in UK, but it's not that bad sha

No bricklayer in the UK will be allowed to dress that way for work ever with no safety gear at all. The contractors won't even dare because they know the lawsuit awaiting them incase of any accident.

Una and rubbish talk. You get taxed, yeah, but that's roughly 15 percent of your income with 12570 pounds as untaxable income. The remaining 85 percent is yours to decide how you spend. If you can't save, it is not the government, it is you.

Una go dey compare nonsense. There is not a single individual living legally in the UK that will be compared to a Nigerian counterpart.

As an example, if you have a TV in your house, in Nigeria, you pay nothing to the government, in the UK, you pay a TV Licence.
Also, you can spend as much as 30 pounds monthly for power supply for a one room house..that's 60000 naira.
Then there is council tax, etc.

It's okay, at least you will have £50 pounds to yourself after bills are set off, that's how much again in naira?? So enjoy your self.

The big money you think you earn in the UK is an illusion as it can't stay in your hand. It's like 'agba na"(collect and spend).

1. Free health care - NHS is free at the point of use

2. Security - Her life expectancy is higher in the UK than Nigeria

3. Law & order - Her chances of fair hearing and judgement is way better in the UK than Nigeria

4. Human rights - She can truly experience what human rights mean without any inference from others who may want to force or coerce her as they wish.

5. So many other things that bring human dignity. Nobody will look down on her as a bricklayer and health & safety rules will be implemented at her work place

But when we tell you Nigerians to vote for a leader that would take the hard road to UK level of life, you go begin dey complain and shout.

UK is where it is because its economy is diversifed, exports manufactured goods and services, and also has high tax uptake, and high numbers of citizens willing to hold their government to account.

Nigerian economy is not diversifed, we don't export manufactured goods, we live under the delusion that 1.5 million bpd revenue from oil can give 230 million people UK level of life, all we have to do is cover leakages...and as for holding government to account, most of you do it to get your side into power, and vice versa.

I'd rather stick to my Nigerian side, at least you can evade tax, you can escape many things, you can even claim it's your money you worked for, but in UK it's hard to beat the system, one way or the other you still going to return your earnings back to the government, without any hesitation. But here in Nigeria hesitation can be applied

Btw, that woman isn’t a labourer. You’ll need CSCS certification which I’m sure that lady doesn’t have. She’s not wearing the correct gear. No helmet, no high visibility vest, work trousers or safety boot, no gloves.

So, are you ready to pay the kind of tax they pay in the UK to fund all that here?

Plus, there is no way that our earnings from 1.5 million bpd of oil can fund a NHS type system in Nigeria. At best, we get somewhere around 70 billion dollars from that, NHS costs 300 billion dollars. Both figures annually.

You guys want to vote leaders like tinubu and obi and even buhari and atiku on the grounds of 'it is their turn'.
