So good to have Havertz back. Everything flowed well while he's on pitch. Exciting times ahead. Maybe coming from bench will benefit Gyokeres |

KING KAI is back!!. See movement in the box, outside the box. That pass to Madueke to force the corner was madt!!!. still got into better positions INSIDE THE BOX to get two shots which were unfortunately blocked. Man!!!. ![]() Ps: Eze can never bench odegaard. At least not with the kind performance I have been seeing lately. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 5:46pm On Jan 11 |
germaphobe:Eze and Ode are not directly competing going by their effectiveness. Eze is best suited at LW more than the left 8 he's playing. I've said this before and judging by his shift at LW when Martinelli came off, Arteta might want to try him there. |

🚩 Arsenal have hired throw-in coach Thomas Gronnemark to boost their set pieces. He once set a 51.33m world record and also helped Andy Robertson increase his throw from 19m to 27m at Liverpool. Source: Times Sport |

mostob:Don't u think getting Guehi when we already have Mosquera and Hincapie deputizing for Saliba and Gabriel is a way to scatter our team? I mean we already have two senior CBs who have strong deputies. Why should we add another senior CB who would hardly be playing? Or do you think Guehi can bench a fit Saliba or fit Gabriel? I don't see the need to get Guehi except we are preparing for life after one of our two senior CBs. It's leftback we should shop for and dispose of Lewis-Skelly if need be. |

BlueRayDick:Guehi is not coming this season the agreement is to have pre-agreement and he stays at palace till season end because of WC |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 7:41pm On Jan 11 |
iamoyindamola:The question is who is he coming to replace? Are we selling any of the current crop of CBs? If no, then buying him is not a wise acquisition. We have other departments that require urgent attention. |

iamoyindamola:Am scared for Gabi playing almost 80mins but Merino is my best player today even though Nelli wins it officially... Looking at MLS and Eze today make Arteta bench be like prison 🤣🤣🤣, it dampened player morale and sapped confidence ; Gyokeres should take notes... Yeah we must crown the hardwork this season, he must start the strongest XI on Wednesday abeg.... |

BlueRayDick:It's an opportunity they don't want to pass with him being Free and also a London boy albeit a Chelsea bred... If we win it all this season (EPL and CL), one of Saliba (Real Madrid) or Gabriel ( Saudi) might want new Challenge or Money 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.... |

When are they announcing December manager of the month? On a lighter note, that draw against Liverpool might mean Arteta may not win MOTM. 🤣 |

BlueRayDick:I forgot to add that if he (Guehi) is willing to come. White has been in and out of treatment room for sometimes now. Arteta has been complaining about how he has been taking risk playing Timber when he should be resting. If MLS doesn't get back to form and White is still battling fitness (I hope not), I really don't mind having Guehi. |

BlueRayDick:I thought we dont have issues with the way we have cbs, moreover injuries will always happen |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 9:17pm On Jan 11 |
iamoyindamola:Guehi na senior man. If he's coming to Arsenal, he will be coming with the mind that he will be a starter, not to wait for injury to Saliba to shine. Moreover Mosquera is there to step up should Saliba be injured. That is why I'm saying if none of our current CBs are leaving, adding Guehi to the team is not a wise decision. See our AM issues for example, we bought Eze to be in contention for the same position with Odegaard and then we still have Nwaneri who has seen limited action since Odegaard/Eze competition began. Guehi is a good player but I don't see how he will fit in with our current CB stack up. We should focus on other position to strengthen |

mostob:Will Guehi be coming to play RB? My understanding is that he's traditionally a CB and not RB |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 9:20pm On Jan 11 |
MSGAMBLE9:Well, if either of our CBs are leaving at the end of the season then signing Guehi may make sense. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 6:37am On Jan 12 |
BlueRayDick:Mosquera can primarily back up Timber at RB. Guehi can comfortably rotate with Saliba and Gabriel. The whole thing still bothers on if White or/and MLS are moved on and Guehi is willing to come. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 8:28am On Jan 12 |
mostob:Why play Mosquera out of position just to accommodate Guehi ? Is it a must we sign Guehi? Why can't we be contented with the fine defenders we already have in our team and focus on strengthening the team in other areas? To the best of my knowledge we don't have any issues with out CBs at all if none of them has shown willingness to leave the club next season. Signing of players like Guehi while we are already stacked in the CB department is one fast way to destabilize a team . |

BlueRayDick:This Morning report but Arteta won't sell come what may be... On Guehi, Liverpool would be his first choice then Barca because of starting berth but he's an opportunity not to be pass-on being Free.. 🚨 Everton are exploring a potential move for Arsenal defender Ben White, 28, as they look to address long-standing issues at right-back. 🔵 White remains a valued member of Mikel Arteta’s squad and any deal would be complex, with Arsenal yet to signal a willingness to sell - The Athletic |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 10:45am On Jan 12 |
MSGAMBLE9:We can't guarantee Guehi a starting shirt if he decides to join Arsenal because we actually have CBs that are way ahead of him in experience and skills. He should just go to Barca or any other big team that needs CB and willing to offer him starting shirt. As for Ben White, I will only recommend selling him if we can get a very good RB like dem Dumfries of Inter. I also won't mind seeing a RB from the academy being transitioned into the senior squad (That is if we have any prospect) like that sha |

BlueRayDick:Guehi is not coming this season it's after WC, more over he's for free meaning he will negotiate a big contract and he knows he can't compete with the 2 best cbs. After this WC by the next one he be close to 30 he need the pay more than the play, may the highest bidder win |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 2:02pm On Jan 12 |
iamoyindamola:Guehi coming next season doesn't change anything. If Gabriel Saliba are not leaving anytime soon, then it's certain Guehi will be coming to seat on the bench and only hope to play when either of them is injured or in ocassional cup matches when they are rested. Guehi is at the peak of his footballing career, so I doubt if he will settle for that when he can go to Loserpool where they can guarantee him starting shirt or Barca (if they are nkt broke again). Make dem focus on strengthening other more important departments where we are light instead of brining in a player that may not be happy on the bench whether he's signed for free or not. |
