That is not true. I don't recall paying that whenever I renewed my vehichle papers.

It's like you go to a provisions shop where only 20% of the customers pay for what they buy, at the price the owner sets, the rest steal products, or pay half or one quarter of the price. You won't get good service as a result.

That's the problem with our electricity system. The vast majority, including the government and the rich, underpay or steal power. (Metering doesn't help, over 60% of consumers steal power). Since not enough profit is being made, there will be service problems for everyone including those who pay in full like you and me.

I guess you didn't see 12570 untaxed? Factor that and you'll understand why you aren't taxed 20%.

Regarding bills, I guess you didn't read where I wrote you have roughly 85 percent of your income to decide how you spend? Also, I'm guessing you don't rent, eat, pay bills in Nigeria? Tinubu gives you all that free of charge?

A mistake many Nigerians make is to see UK living as being similar to Nigerian living...thus they see someone earning say 2000 pounds a month, convert it to naira, assume nigerian experience, and the idea that things in uk are to some extent 'free'...and you see the result...forgetting that tax, bills, and even other things will eat out of that money...and those are not charged at nigerian rates.

Plus, there is no way that our earnings from 1.5 million bpd of oil can fund a NHS type system in Nigeria. At best, we get somewhere around 70 billion dollars from that, NHS costs 300 billion dollars. Both figures annually.

You guys want to vote leaders like tinubu and obi and even buhari and atiku on the grounds of 'it is their turn'.
