Greetings all.
So I am 35 years . Never had a car before . Don't even know if I know how to drive well but I have driven to a short distance .
So I want to get a car which will be my first car before April .
I know nothing about cars .
Please kindly recommend a car brand that will serve me well.
Fuel economy, durability, low maintenance, efficiency and one I can comfortably drive and learn the ropes .

My budget is 6-7M.

Or go the dumbo way,buy toks ,wreck it and start from zero again

The rest are money pits
Hybrid go last u max 3 years,but when ba3 sapa,u go spend money taya.

2007 Toyota Camry ( solid car, but you’ll most likely face oil burn issues later on )
2005-2008 corolla ( actually a good option, just get a car tracker if you opt for it, it’s a thieve magnet )
2005 -6 Toyota Highlander ( you probably have kids or would need something with a higher ground clearance , it’s very reliable but then it’s a v6 )
- 2008 Honda Crv, honestly, this is the best option for you, absolutely wonderful cuv, nice interior has ground clearance, 4 plugs engine, maintenance friendly, fit the budget perfectly, just make sure you get a good unit

Then get the 2011 Camry ( the one that still looks like a muscle Camry but then has a better engine ) for a tokunbo unit you should be looking at 10.5-11m max and 8-8-5 m for a good Nigerian used unit
A 2012 -2013 Camry would suffice also has a much refined look, and still very reliable and maintenance friendly, 14.5-15m for higher trims like se and XLE and a registered unit about 10m-11.5m
2010-2011 corolla, very economical on gas, simple ride and would do everything you need it to do, it can be a bit pricy though ( 7-8m for Nigerian used unit ) and 12m for a toks unit

2012 Honda civic - a very good alternative to the corolla

Also do note that the prices I’m giving are average values sir, you’d obviously find some cheaper or even more expensive all depends on various factors, like age, vehicle condition and even reason for sale, thank you sir.

Lose weight naturally.

You should get a Rolls-Royce or G-wagon as your first

Then later on you can get Corolla or Civic as your second

If itel you say Nigeria Nokia about the citizens you go ask me how I Tecno.

Just Buy Micra or Yaris

Don’t go for luxury brands

naija used with HEADACHE @the Mercy of Baba Adisa the renowned roadside Meko @ Ajiwe etc.. Not all Naija used are headache anyway.

if u want something reasonable that will serve u, buy Micra or Toyota Yaris or better still small corolla of 03 or 04 n u will b happy.

at op follow this advice but not crv i will prefer you go for the accord of same year evil spirit you wont regret. i use a matrix very under rated if you can get a neat one with sound engine that not a bad choice too

Get a good neat Nigerian used 2007 Toyota Corolla

As a first time car owner;

Don't buy any other car brand apart from these 2 cars below:

1. Toyota Corolla Sport 2007
2. Honda Civic 2010.

No matter how they sweet talk any other car brand to you as a first time car owner, even if it's cheap, please don't buy, or else you will learn the CRY way.


But with either of these 2 cars, you are good to go!!!

I can also recommend to you "Toyota Yaris". You will definitely enjoy it also.

Don't let them decide you with Horse power, you have no business with speed oo
