Germany has been existing how many centuries compared to Nigeria that has lost its way since 1960 and just gradually beginning to find it......thos is what we should have done over 60 years ago and by now we would have gotten close to German standard or better, but our lack of patriotism, tribalism and incompetent leaders wouldn't help us.

I can almost swear that this guy is lying. Most of the things written there are either outright lies or not for everybody in the country.

After they finish selling these types of lies, Nigerians will now do all sorts of evil (even kidnapping), sell all their properties and then japa. Only to get there and find out the harsh realities that what was promised is different from what you get.

The first question any sensible person should ask is, if government does all of these things for people over there whay then are there still homeless people?

What Germans call tuition free University is still higher that what we pay in our public and maybe even private universities. Even though tuition free, by the time you pay all the other so-called small fees, it will add up and be more than what we call school fees here, but technically it is still called tuition-free.
you are so ignorant, comparing the value of Euros to naira, German universities are tuition free what you call small fee maybe fees for books and others don’t Nigeria student buy books too. You comparing the value of their books which is sold in euros to naira is just stupidity. How does your brain work?

Less than 10% of Nigerians pay personal income tax. In fact, only those in well structured paid employment get to pay. Even at that, over 90% of them don’t pay up to 30%.

Again, it’s sad to see people ignorantly thinking their personal income taxes goes to FG. No, your taxes goes to your state government fully. Tinubu gets all the blame for the tax reform while state governors take every personal income tax. Even the VAT, states take 85% while FG takes 15%. Nigeria is probably the only country where the central government doesn’t take a dime from payroll tax. In US, Germany etc, FG takes the lion share from payroll tax. Not in Nigeria.
The one we are paying, what benefits are we getting from it. Even if it is 5% we are paying, what benefits are we getting from the 5%.

In Nigeria, your tax will be used to fly in the hottest Latino and American thoties. No roads, no water, affordable houses, food, etc.

However, if you live in Lagos, you might have a bit taste of development and civilization.
Have you ever paid tax in Nigeria before even vat if not added at checkout would most Nigerians pay. Until we implement this tax law faithful and things remain the way they were that's when you can say paying taxes in Nigeria does not pay.

All these excuses to not pay tax as it is now clear to those that have never paid tax that with this new tax law it will be hard to avoid paying tax as you earn they are crying up and down asking their brother to write gibberish from Germany where he's parasiting grin

No, it is not black leaders.

Communist countries run by whites were doing free education, free electricity, welfare, jobs for all, etc, on economies that were dependent on extractive sector (like Nigeria and most African countries). Again, european communist countries and asian communist countries.

The result was most of them collapsed.

East and West germany were both run by WHITES. East germany was running an economy where everyone got free house, free school, free everything from government, and security was top notch. Based on exporting raw materials, and also on a small industrial sector, that while it exported stuff, could not meet up with what the west germans were doing.

The result was that by the 1970's the east germans were in debt that they BORROWED from the West Germans a lot . Right up to 1989 when the country collapsed economically, and was eventually eaten up by the western germans later on

Same issue with North and South Korea. Today, the South is far more advanced than the North, which is being propped up b y China.

African countries have been trying to do what the communist countries of europe used to do. Dash everyone free stuff, instead of doing capitalism and industries. The result is massive debt and underdeveloped countries.

If you want an economy that works, you have to do industries and capitalist development and taxation. Unfortunately for Africa, that is not what our independence leaders wanted to tell people, because it means an era of hardship and real hardship before things get better. Instead they promised free school, free house, fre eeverything...and got into debt doing so.
We have always been working......though
We have natural gifts
Its the leaders that need to harness these
We may not be like the whites but could fund what works.....,

Hahaham. I am coming..I day come.

Okay

1. Germany has a higher per Capita GDP. That's because it is an active exporter of manufactured goods and services. I mean we all know at least one international brand that is German.

Nigeria is a country that depends on income from 1.5 million bpd of crude and revenue from tax that never reach 23 billion dollars annually.

2. The man wants Nigerian government to do the same as German government on the budget we have?

Plus Every German pays tax to the central government and state government and even local government . Nigeria wey only ten million out of 230 million pay tax? Okay o.

And he dey compare am to Nigeria where only ten million people pay income tax and revenue from oyel is not up to 100 billion dollars annually ( Germany is spending 600 billion dollars this year as budget, compared to our 36 billion dollars )

We would end up with debts in the trillions of dollars in the next ten years if we did what he is demanding.

Someone wants government to do what 600 billion is doing with 36 billion. ? Na WA o.

Abeg, tinubu government is useless. As are all our past government including GEJ. Because if a country like Nigeria cannot do budget of 800 billion dollars by now, that means all our leaders are useless

And the thing is many Nigerians think that 36 billion dollars can guarantee a lifestyle that 600 billion dollars can cover. Na WA o.
U guys aren't tired of rationalising the absurd?

But if not poor management of our resources with particular emphasis on financial corruption, if not like that of Germany, our too will be worthy of praising irrespective of our population.
It is not.

Tax Germany received in 2025 is 990 Billion Dollars.

Almost 4 times Nigeria's GDP.

U guys aren't tired of rationalising the absurd?
Is it rationalizing the absurd when one says that an income and budget (before stealing) of less than 50 billion dollars cannot do what a budget of 600 billion dollars is doing?

Which is what I am saying.

I really don't get your criticism. It's because you are running on the mistaken assumption that I am defending this government...which is riddiculous because a government that cannot make a good enough income for Nigeria and cannot even stop corruption is a useless government.

But the painful thing is that even if corruption and leakages ended yesterday, we still cannot afford the things germans can afford because we are not earning that kind of money. That is the scary fact...but you don't get it.

Pretending that we could live like the Germans in the past is what brought us to the massive debt we have.

Finally, most germans pay tax, and have been doing so for centuries, even when their countries were shit. That is why the country runs well, they pay very good attention to how their money is spent.

Nigeria? Since independence, not up to 10% of our budget comes from tax. It comes from what we sell, which is why people steal money...it is not coming from people's pockets, so no one really cares. Had most of the money been coming from our pocket, people would care and by now we would have had sane government, not Tinubu government.
