How do you even feel eating an animal that has human features? Bayelsa Commissioner for Environment condemns k!lling of chimpanzee

Bayelsa State Government has condemned the k!lling of a chimpanzee in Ogbia Local Government Area of the state. 
 
It was gathered that the chimp was k!lled by a hunter in Akepellai community on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
 
The State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Ebi Ben Ololo, in a statement on Monday, January 12, described the act as “totally unacceptable,” [/b]questioning how anyone could k!ll and eat an animal that has human features. 

According to Ololo, the incident occurred at a government forest reserve, recently upgraded to Edumanom National Park by the Federal Government.
 
The commissioner added that an investigation is underway, and those responsible will be held accountable.
 
[b]“This poaching should stop in Bayelsa State. This is highly condemned and should not be permitted in our forests in our State. How do you even feel k!lling and eating an animal that looks just like you, having all the features of a human being? This is totally unacceptable,” he said.
 
"We are carrying out an investigation and whoever is involved will be brought to book. The last time I checked, the area where this act was perpetrated is a Government forest reserve that has been upgraded by the federal Government to a National park known as Edumanom National park. We are coming for whoever is involved."

What is wrong in eating chimpaxines, monkeys,dog,snake,tortoise,rats etc are they not meat like chicken... those who just killed one poor chicken for meat will be the first to point fingers hypocrites
