Its a shame.

It isn't to justify incompetence, it is to show the extent of the problem really. And to show how difficult it would be to deal with the problem. (Just as saying that someone cannot walk because the leg is broken does not mean I am excusing his inability to walk)

Personally, I think that the special forces, and the regular army should strike the bandits hard and repeatedly, regardless of collateral damage. The problem is, people will protest, and people will complain. Even then, it has to be done.

The solution is political and economic. If we ran an economy based on using the raw materials in one's area to make products for the world, no one would have time for bandits and boko. The people who recurit for these groups exploit the already exisiting poverty, which has been worsened since indepenence by our resource dependency.

If you think your favored politican can do a better job, good. I'm not a fan of this government or any other government, but I am a fan of Nigeria, and I want it to be better, and even if we split this country, I want us to be in a postion where we can split peacefully.
