The US just announced 25% tariffs against any country daring to trade with Iran. Because, you know, 'Merica!

Practical implications are that China, Iran's largest trading partner, will now see all its products be 25% more expensive in the US. Given how the US' share of China's GDP now is, hard to see how that's going to much matter to it, but it's going to drive a nail into the US consumer, especially at the lower end of the income scale, who relies on cheap goods for economic survival.

It will also destroy any trade deal between the US and China.

The neocons who are hot and bothered to overthrow Iran, as they did in the 50's so Brit and US oil companies could rape it repeatedly, and so Israel could exert its will in the region with less resistance (as well as install a Rothschild controlled central bank), couldn't care less about any of this, of course, as they are singularly focused on their regime change goal. If half the crap you buy winds up being a lot more expensive, that's a you problem.

That is why there has been nonstop propaganda about how "The Iranian People" want to overthrow their government, just as there has been about how the "Venezuelan People" want to overthrow theirs. This is basic deep state propaganda 101, and that anyone is stupid enough to fall for it at this point baffles me. It is as stupid as saying "The American People" want to overthrow their government when BLM was rioti...er...I mean mostly peaceful protesting by lighting neighborhoods on fire.
