So what are we arguing if someone says it's better he goes abroad to work salary work rather than be a "big" man in Nigeria? Hassle is too much in this country and u can only survive the harsh conditions if u are fraudulent, corrupt or ready to cut corners. I have an old class mate that deals in roofing sheets, and other building materials I've known this guy for 30 years. There was a time he lived in America for a while, so when he came back to settle down in Ondo state, I was shocked.

Every freaking year, this guy travels with his family to like.12 countries over the 7 continents of the world. But he still lives in Ondo state, not even Lagos. But his house is like something you see on MTV cribs...pool, tennis court, club etc. He told me he won't live anywhere else but Nigeria. He lives a lavish lifestyle off of doing business in Nigeria...why would someone like that leave naija.

The people i know that relocate/japa are high paid 9 to 5 people...but most of the businessmen i know that are making a killing in naija are not going anywhere.
