The National Assembly has confirmed that the certified true copy of version of the tax law that they approved and passed as bill is different from what the FG has gazetted, and the FG has not denied it. So what the FG has now is the ''forged'' version.

It looks it is the rubbish they tell u at the park alone you hear.You did not see the released certified version from national assembly is different from the gazetted one.Abi your free data was not able to allow u read it as it was published.
The original one from house of assembly is on the net against the altered gazetted one

This is the usual self serving nonsense from these people. Where was this 'courage' when the Governors Forum eyeballed BAT and Oyedele till they both became cross eyed and backed down from a VAT policy that actually had some merit? BAT only picks weak targets - ordinary Nigerians who cannot properly organize resistance to anti-people policy. When he comes up against powerful, entrenched, vested interests, he always folds.

Oyedele needs to study the response of the content creator who allegedly declined to be drafted to defend this administration's tax laws. Her response was beautifully put together - and the summary is this: Nigerians are sceptical about this new tax law because there is a trust deficit.

Sensible Nigerians don't trust BAT. He has not shown the leadership by example that is critical to pushing his so called reform agenda. BAT has shown zero desire or inclination to reform government MDAs and the public sector but he is hell bent on this cynical, one sided tax reform...the question is: to what end? The end result will be like pouring water into a basket - the increased tax revenue will be completely wasted because there are no guard rails. That's what usually happens when a country's institutions are dead. The money will go on more Land Cruisers, foreign travel, white elephant projects etc. and there will be nothing to show for it in the end.

Time will tell.
