I knew chukwueze is most useless player ever liveth. Allowing him to play penalty is what I don't understand. He can't dribble nor score walks around like person wey get boil for yanch
Chukwueze's presence in the SE is mostly to add vibe and cruise to the camp and nothing more. The days when he used to be a serious-minded player are long gone. Now, he's like the team's official jester. You would always find him clowning around and mischievously poking fun at his teammates. I bet you, after this loss, he won't feel so dispirited for long, knowing the kind of happy-go-lucky person that he is. He will just snap back into character and continue to clown around.

I just told my wife the moment they introduced chukwueze, that he ll be the one that ll spoil penalty... Person no play since, come dey chew gum spoil our chance...🀦🀦. I just remembered that england march, where Rashford and Sancho were introduced at the final whistle to play penalty....
that final match pain me ehn. But ask yourself, who introduces a 20yearvold in the last minute to take a penalty kick in arguably the biggest match is country has ever played? That was on gareth Southgate who was a d****

I beg to disagree with you. The present set of players Nigeria is having in that team cannot be outclass by any team in the competition. All blame is on the coach. It his his job to make them play accordingly.
You obviously didn't watch the game. They were already outclassed, pummeled, pinned down and defeated so I don't understand what you mean by "the present set of players Nigeria is having in that team cannot be outclass by any team in the competition"? You're speaking future tense for an event that just occurred few minutes ago. Just go and watch Morocco's match against Mali. They narrowly escaped defeat by Mali if not for the referee's bias. I expected Nigeria to have studied that Mali game. But the players lack winning mentality

As this match hard reach, see as professional player dey play penalty, when it is crucial, haba na, chukwueze you can do better.
He's more interested in social media these days. Such a lousy penalty. Losing a penalty is okay but not losing in that way. The casual run up and tame shot against the best keeper in Africa?? Lousy.

I completely agree with you

Bro, blame the Coach, he is not a stranger to African football, he knows what it is that was why we defeated Algeria handsdown. Blame him for this match.
You guys think football is the same with every team...until you are on the field yourself.

Is Algeria as good as Morocco?

You guys must blame someone by all means. As if Moroccan coach came to joke also.
When defeated, Nigerians don't have the gut to take it objectively, they just want to win.

Football isn't always like that.
If you blame the coach, what are you going to do to those who lost the penalties, you would kill them? Anyone could have lost the penalties CR7, Messi, all have lost penalties before...so what are you saying

Morocco deserve the win. Nigeria relied on only one game plan which didn't work in this match. They couldn't adapt to Morocco and apply another approach.

The coach was clueless in this match. Nigeria had a stalemate for a long time and he couldn't come out with a viable plan. We were just hanging in there and were lucky to get to penalties.

It would have been a travesty if Morocco lost. Super Eagles didn't deserve to win by any stretch.

Secondly, what is the thinking behind selecting two players who just came in as your penalty takers when they've barely warmed up.

Lastly, how can a team that has Iwobi and Lookman be giving a rookie defender a penalty shootout to take?
The coach should have subbed Akor and Onyedika a long time ago as they were totally ineffective, but he let them stay on.
take? Then, it was still very tight. Very compact. Even the Moroccans were also cautious then. The game was locked up. Those two were not in the game, but they were not out of it either, unless you want to tell me that only 9 Super Eagles players were doing the whole man and zonal marking.

Otherwise, if those two are pulled off from the field untimely, Chelle would still have to contend with a new set of problem, especially one which he didn't plan for....and his initial plan A will collapse immediately. I wonder what the new plan would be, and how fast the players would adapt to it.

Did you get to FIFA world cup semi final?

They finished 4th in the world cup last time.

Currently ranked above you as first in africa.

They are going to next world cup, you are not.

Oga, dem pass you
Going to the world cup is participation, what have they won in football over Nigeria that made you conclude they are better than us in football....

If you say they are currently in form than Nigeria is understandable

That chukwueze penalty was so weak that the goalkeeper could have gone the wrong way and still have enough time to reverse and catch the penalty.

.
We sold ourselves to pressure. Our game was too slow, lacking the intensity and technical know-how to disorganised a well organised defence. That kind of match needed a striker like Osimto be fed repeatedly. He was starved! Lookman couldn't get the usual passes he needed from Iwobi because our game plan was too visible and wee read by the MC. Well, if that was the instruction from the coach, it worked a bit but ostentatious us this match. If Osimhen got enough passes, things would have changed a bit.

Very shameful indeed. Just when I thought he was worth it, he just made us know he's not a good coach. This match reminded me of the wcq against dr Congo in which we were outclassed and only waited to hope on penalties. And to even think that a team like Mali took this same Moroccan side to the cleaners, yet this same Morocco team outclassed us from start to finish today.
I honestly don't think Chelle is good enough for this team
