Seplat is not based in SE. Its only asset in SE is the recently completed ANOH (Assa North – Ohaji South) Gas Project located in Imo State, Nigeria, All Its other and more significant assets are in SS and SW. In fact, one of the co-founders almost lost all his assets and Seplat’s Assets in Lagos to Access Bank until the matter was resolved. Seplat is not based and has never been based in SE. It is like saying that because there's a branch of Fidelity Bank plc in SE, it is now based in SE. No nah. Fidelity Bank Plc is based in my South West.

And on SW, you are still ignorant again, typical of the genz. As I type here, I am sure that you are not aware that the biggest non oil forex earner for the whole of Nigeria in agriculture and in mining are both based in Ọsun state. Ogun and Ọyọ states each have IGR almost the size of the 5 states of the SE with Oyo leading Nigeria in production of Cassava and some other agriculture produce. Ogun is almost catching up with Lagos as the new industrial hub of Nigeria while Ondo, a crude oil producing state,is still producing oil, okitipupa oil palm plc is back and fetching billions while getting ready for a massive deep Seaport. Ekiti is largely seen as hub for Yoruba intellectuals behind our progressive development and politics.

On nearly every platform he appears on, he promotes this approach. This is a dangerous position, especially for someone who seeks influence or leadership.

Constantly calling for civil unrest because of an election loss creates a real risk of violence. Once people are brought into the streets, events can quickly get out of control. When that happens, those who made the calls often step back, leaving the authorities and ordinary citizens to deal with the consequences.

To be clear, you really cannot overcome the state through violence...especially in a country like Nigeria. The courts remain the most effective and peaceful way to resolve election disputes. It is very irresponsible for a political leader to say otherwise.
