Biblical Beautiful War Captive Women Treatment by AntiChristian(op): 5:54pm On Jan 15
How are beautiful war captive women to be treated?

Memory Verse - Deuteronomy 21:10-15
When you go to war against your enemies and the LORD your God delivers them into your hand and you take them captive, if you see a beautiful woman among them, and you desire her and want to take her as your wife. then you shall bring her into your house. She must shave her head, trim her nails, and put aside the clothing of her captivity. After she has lived in your house a full month and mourned her father and mother, you may have relations with her and be her husband, and she shall be your wife. And if you are not pleased with her, you are to let her go wherever she wishes. But you must not sell her for money or treat her as a slave, since you have dishonored her.

That prisoner of wars agreement was essentially brought to a halt just over 2000 years ago when the remnants of the land of Israel(the Judeans) were not only exiled, but the land itself was renamed Syria Palestine by the Romans, essentially bringing to a close the effect of that law which you quoted ushering in the time of the curses of the Law — Deuteronomy 28 - 30. 🥱🥱🥱

Since that time, the nation that YHWH Himself constituted has never warred against any human nation of the earth. And according to the Book of Books, the nation, whose King is Jesus Christ of Israel, ceased to war against the nations of men— no more slaves or anything of the sort — since the people of Israel were cursed by their God. And after the nation is eventually reconstituted here on earth by its everlasting King, there would still be no more wars. 🥱🥱🥱

You brandishing those laws 2000 years later leads me to believe you have never, in fact, processed the content of that book outside of the space that is religion as fed to you by your particular religious gods. What a shame, because that book is a book of interesting reads. undecided

I never said it still continues till this day! If your God can give such laws at one point in time so what moral standing do you have against those terrorists who claim same today if they exists?

Is that not extreme hypocrisy?

Reading Numbers 31 in context, we saw how virgins were spared and others were killed. Even 32 virgins were awarded to the LORD from the booty!

So because all these laws are no more in use today then they stopped becoming acts of terrorism and genocide? Or is it because they involve your God?

And where was Jesus the price of peace back then when all these happened?

1. Moral standing? Who told you the Law of Moses was about your moral standing? Tell us what your moral code of today has to do with what existed or was 2000 years ago? undecided

Now that I think about it, the right of the Israelites to war was actually taken away from them, the moment Judea was captured by the Babylonians, as they never regained their freedom from that point on, and were never able to raise a national army... we are talking over 2500 years ago, actually. And during that time, many of their women were taken by their captive nations as slaves, as detailed in parts of scripture. While the vast majority were sold off into slavery in foreign lands. undecided

2. Hypocrisy in what sense? You would have to explain this reasoning of yours to me. 🥱🥱🥱

Additionally, given that the rightness or wrongness of particular actions— particularly those which pertain to your moral codes —is dependent on the circumstances of the time and culture in which it occurs, ethical relativism, why the sudden insistence by your person that what you consider of moral code be compared to objective truth which it cannot be? Isn't that act of yours more closely tied to hypocrisy here than anything else? 🥱🥱

3. Yes, from the female slaves taken during the law, some were taken as slaves to serve the positions available in the temple. What do you have against that? 🥱🥱🥱

4. Um... Israel was a nation with its own borders and laws, and it had an army and the right to conquer and destroy any army that encroached on its territory, like any other nation out there. It was a terrorist group like the many islamic terrorists groups out there, you keep wanting to compare it to. 🥱

When the Assyrian nation descended on the Northern nation of Israel around 720BC to wage war against it, there was no cry of genocide even though about 1/3rd of the people were decimated, and the remaining 2/3rd were either taken away into slavery or exiled. When the Babylonians, the Persians, then the Greeks, and eventually the Romans, sacked the southern nation of Judea, killing more than 1/3rd, sending a good portion of those alive either into slavery or exile, no one cried genocide then either. 🥱🥱

5. We are discussing talantolo, this one dey talk tolontala... wetin concern Jesus Christ of Israel being the prince of peace with any of the issues of Israel(Judea included)? I mean, His literal arrival ushered in the end time... the time of the curse of the Law of Moses... upon the poeple and the land. 🥱🥱

Moses was said to be filled with the spirit of God in Numbers 11:17 and Numbers 27:18! Hence the laws he promulgated should have been top-notched standards that should be able moral compass for ages to come. Notwithstanding, I can understand as Samson too was empowered with the same holy Spirit!

I think the criticism occurs as a result of the Holy Spirit frolicking with the Character Moses! Assuming Moses was just a man, then i wouldn't have made such comments! Giving that terrorists are now following this Holy spirit script...

3. Yes, from the female slaves taken during the law, some were taken as slaves to serve the positions available in the temple. What do you have against that? 🥱🥱🥱
Yeah, war slaves are to serve God! I mean God having a share of war booty! I can't imagine Israel following the Torah and doing this today! Majority of the virgins are to serve the warriors!

Exactly! The Biblical Israelites are as you claimed. I like your honesty here! But you know Yahweh supports them terrorist Israel in the Bible?

Jesus was the Prince of peace and he should have mediated in the terrorism acts and genocide commited back then!

For example: Jesus would never support all these killings while on earth! Why did he supported them when he was not on earth?

1 Samuel 15:2-3
This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘I witnessed what the Amalekites did to the Israelites when they ambushed them on their way up from Egypt. Now go and attack the Amalekites and devote to destruction all that belongs to them. Do not spare them, but put to death men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and donkeys.’”

Numbers 31:17-18
So now, kill all the boys, as well as every woman who has had relations with a man, 18but spare for yourselves every girl who has never had relations with a man.

And nothing stops God from killing the enemies like Sodom!

Clearly, this criticism is a really of your personal ignorance and nothing else. 🥱🥱

What you are insinuating is that your Muslim terrorists follow a military code designed specifically for a nation whose military ceased to exist over 2500 years ago? Are you certain you are OK? 😩😩

How is it a personal ignorance? Are you blaming me instead of the Holy Spirit/Yahweh who inspired the killings?

You are wrong! They are not my Muslim terrorists. The spirit of the Bible inspired terrorism as i have proven which you agreed on! I don't support terrorism! And of cos i am okay!

I wonder why Christians don't blame Yahweh/Holy Spirit but blames the so-called Muslim terrorists for doing less than the Biblical masscares!

1. Terrorist's in the Bible? Please be specific! 🥱🥱🥱

2. Were all the other princes doing the same thing... Or you are just bored and looking yet again to foist your private delusions in ignorance? 🥱🥱

3. Jesus Christ of Israel would never support the commandments of His own Father in His own Nation? Are you high? We are talking her of the sovereignty of a nation that existed almost 2500 years ago here. 🥱🥱

1. Where is it written in the book that this holy Spirit inspires killings, though? Let's start there. 🥱🥱

2. Where in the Bible is your Muslim terrorism inspired? 🥱🥱

3. We have a constitutional law belonging to a nation called Israel, which gave the nation's army the right to fight against its enemies, particularly those who tried to invade its lands. (I would think you understand why a country has the right to defend itself against invading armies, right?) Now, this nation, like all of the nations of the time and culture took captives and collected spoils of war for themselves after each battle. Again, most of the nations of this time and culture operated by pretty much the same rules. . Almost all of the nations of that time and culture no longer exist, with this particular nation's army ceasing about 2500 years ago. 🥱🥱

Now, what you are trying to tell us is that a bunch of terrorists (not a nation of people) in the year 2026 -- an entirely different time and culture from that which once existed— are going around operating according to laws that once existed for a nation called Israel? You are trying to suggest to us that because the Israelite nation that formerly existed in that region thousands of years ago —its army ceased around 2500 years ago—were able to carry out massacres much like the other nations of the time— the Babylonians, Assyrians, Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Persians, Ethiopians, etc.,— therefore in 2026, we should laud Muslim terrorists carrying out similar massacres today? 🥱🥱

And you don't see how this thinking of yours is born of the utmost levels of stewpidity? 🥱🥱
